Just looking at the pictures and the air bags and especially the frame, it’s 110% totaled.
Is it just me, or are we all beginning to get the idea that pretty much any accident is going to total these cars??

Fairly serious accidents total out most new cars, the fancy tech in modern cars increases the price to replace them and the expertise to do things such as recalibrate frontal collision.

that’s good, would you want to keep your Supra knowing it has been rebuilt? Value is significant lower. Good luck in reselling it and etc. I rather have it totaled out and buying another new one.

Car is totaled. Trying to decide what to do with the parts I have on it. I'm wondering if I could get more out of 4 good launch edition rims and tires with around 2k miles on them - or 3 good aftermarket wheels/tires that I had on there? Also trying to decide If I would have better luck selling the red mirror caps or Seibon CF ones. This is assuming the insurance company will let me do any swaps/removals on it.

If your at total loss, technically your not take anything off of the car. The only thing I would take is all the aftermarket stuff and throw back the stock stuff. Good luck man. I would take off the small stuff and hopefully insurance company won’t know. Like mirror caps, floor mats, and etc lol

Out of curiosity, how much would you want for the LE wheels? :dunno:

I'm thinking $1600, they are in fine shape and I had them ceramic coated when I had the car done. I'm hoping to not have to ship them though.

I'm so jaded right now I doubt I buy anything else the rest of the year. Maybe next summer.

Hopefully the result of the claim is to your liking. I can't imagine having to deal with all of this.

I don't blame you for taking your time with replacing. Whatever you do end up getting as a replacement we hope you'll have better luck. Glad that you are physically ok.
