Anyone know why there are so few white 2021s out there? Seem to be a ton of Tungten, red, and black.

Can someone with system access look to see how many white Premium 3.0 cars are incoming?

Thereā€™s one at the local dealer, Toyota Universe. Maybe they didnā€™t sell well the first time around

I remember they were sorta harder to find last year too. Just weird that searches donā€™t show more than a handful nationwide.

you are correct, I had trouble finding one last year as well Especially in Prem. Had to wait a month or so for one to come in. Everybody had black and red in stock.

Passed on a white Premium in stock, and the red Premium one I ordered is coming in between 9/15 -9/21. Oh my, thatā€™s maybe tomorrow! Wilde Toyota in West Allis, WI let me test drive the white one.

If the theory about the headlight recall+fix is indeed keeping cars at ā€œportā€ then hopefully there will soon be a lot more cars on dealer lots as they work through fixing them.

The headlight fix is very easy, the repair procedure was posted here, it is literally opening the hood and swapping two plastic plugs. No headlight removal, no bumper removal, nothing. If it takes longer than two minutes to perform, its an idiot performing the fix.

click on the dealer instructions and be amazed at how simple it is.

I just put a deposit on one. Should be here in a few weeks. Funny though I like Tungsten better but this was local and a good deal.

Think I saw one in the area of Toronto in the summer - although I think these might not be strong sellers as I've seen Nitro Yellow and Black as well upclose.

Actually, thatā€™s exactly what I expected.

Right, so i highly doubt there is a mass buildup of cars in port waiting for this

Well, I could see them deprioritizing a low sales volume car needing extra work. Iā€™m sure theyā€™re barely staffed to handle the regular work load.

They could have also spent weeks trying to decide whether the prep center would fix this or if the dealers would...

Either way it remains a mystery. Toyota seems to take a long time to do seemingly simple things so anything is possible...
