So 1k bump over MY20, that’s pretty insignificant compared to the improved spec. Good deal for those who are getting the MY21.

Nah, embargo is May 17th, so it's fine...

As for the cost, I knew it and I was pissed to figure that price. In Japan, here are the price difference
    RZ (3.0) - 7,313,000yen
    SZ-R (2.0) - 6,013,000yen
    SZ (2.0) - 4,995,000yen

Now, engine we got in 2.0 is SZ-R, but the rest is pretty much SZ w very few RZ & SZ-R stuff. When we're not getting active suspension, e-dif and other legit parts, but price difference is $8k? That's just ridiculous.

1K increase for the 3.0 with the updates is not bad. Hopefully the limited supply won't push dealerships to add on the ADM's again.

There is probably no increase. The $50,990 is including the $1000 shipping cost. The 2020 is $49,990 but they tack on $955 before it even gets here.
But if it is $1000 more for the base to begin with, that's still not bad because you get the larger screen in the interior etc which cost extra in the 2020 base.
I wish the Premium and A91 prices were here too.

The embargo is June 17th, not May. Redline reviews misspoke and admitted to it in the comments in their video.

Supra production started back up today. Dealers hopefully learned from the 2020 models not to try to sell them over sticker.

As soon as this news came out, the 2020's immediately became worth much less, especially with respect to ADM's!

I don't know if I should be happy or sad because even though Toyota is quoting a good price, these greedy dealers are going to mark the damn thing up even if it hurts their sales. It's not a numbers game for them when it comes to the supra. They don't care how many they sold. They care about how much they made on each sale. They are going to mark it up by $20k and then on negotiating would not go below $10k. I know that for sure. We will have to wait for 6-8 more months until they remove the markups.
