I went with the $8 amazon special and it works great. You can barely tell it's on there and takes about 5 mins to install. This completely eliminated the 40-55 mph buffeting. Unless you have cash burning a hole in your pocket or just have to have your car dripping in carbon fiber, I would save your money for other mods and just go the cheap route here.

Do you have to have some shots from other angles?

Went all the way to 79 mph and no wind buffeting.

Installed the AMS gloss blacks today ($130). Totally worked for getting rid of the buffeting, though tbh I didn't think it was that huge of an issue. Noticeable sure, annoying... not very. Individual specific I'm sure.

The AMS pieces were good quality, though I didn't think the fit was amazing. There's a bit of freedom in where you place them, I was expecting it to really just lock in only one way. You need to be careful when the sticky's exposed to pick the right spot (duh, but more delicate than I expected). I think the 3m-ish tape being used is thicker than it needs to be, might be good to try a thinner doublesided tape, if there are any strong enough.

Perfect, thanks for sharing! While I like the carbon fiber look, I agree that it makes it stand out more being a different material, so gloss black would be great.

Yup, I got gloss cf but think gloss black would look better there. (wasn't available when I was buying though).

Ordered and installed the gloss black from IND. While I think this should have been fixed by Toyota in year two, this aftermarket solution does work. I drove up Mt Lemmon in AZ which is just over 9,000ft yesterday, and the 29 mile base to top twisting and winding drive was so much more enjoyable with the windows down. While they do not necessarily look factory stock, they are not distracting.

I bought the matte ones and applied 2080 gloss black vinyl. I only use the driver side, but I really like how they turned out.
