I have noticed that the car does not always have the same climate settings as it did when I last drove it. Sometimes, when I get in they are not the same as when I shut it down last. Also, I like to keep the dash showing the MPG, and sometimes it remembers that, and other times it reverts back to the ODO. Seems random, but I haven't really played with it much. Anyone else notice this?

Are you always using the same key?

Mine is random as well. A little irritating.

The MPG on the infotainment screen? Mine stays on the infotainment, I have it set split screen. Does it show on the cluster?
Yup, it shows in the cluster. You can cycle through Trip/ODO, range remaining, MPG and Nav info(if you have a trip set). Left hand stalk I think the button is labeled BC. On top of the auto high beam button

Well I'm glad it's not just me then. While it's not the most irritating thing I've had to deal with on a car, it is annoying, and really stupid. Maybe a future software update will fix it, but I doubt it's a high priority.

Did not know that. Now I will have to mess with mine sometime to check that out

So, how does Toyota do software updates for the Supra?

And are they responsive to requests, or like Sony, that take forever to none?

The climate control changes may be due to settings you have set up where it changes based on outside temps. I remember coming across it in a menu. Comfort settings I beleive? The other issue I have no idea. Mine does it as well

I'll have to go and fiddle with the menus some more. It's not unreasonable to think given all the attention paid to the comfort stuff with this car that it's an "intended" thing.

Mine does this as well, did correct the setting a few times but then stopped changing it again and again...

So, how does Toyota do software updates for the Supra?
Since its basicly BMW tech, the Supra can be updated to a newer software version, if a newer I-Level is available. Can't speak for the Supra here, but the Z4 already got a new I-Level, last time I checked, the Supra is still on March 2019 I-Level (at least mine is and I did not find a newer I-Level).
