Best way to get rid of that CEL outside of a real tune is to sell that catless dp and buy one that doesn't throw a CEL like the one from Armytrix which I have on my car for 19k miles.
I love everything about the A110 S except the shape of the car. I'm happy we are getting the Lotus Emira though. It's easily the prettiest car under 100k imho.
Think about what you're saying? Toyota has had many bread and butter cars when the MK4 failed financially and the nameplate was out of commission for 20 plus years. Honda did as well when the S2000 failed yet we didn't get a 2nd gen because unlike the CTR the S2000 shared nothing with other...
If the Supra was manual only it would've failed at a catastrophic level worse than Mk4 and probably worse than the S2000 which was a massive sales disaster. The Civic Type R can afford to be manual only because the bread and butter Civics which the platform is based on sells in big numbers to...
Upcharging for the auto would've been completely stupid considering the take rate for both transmissions would be like 75/25 in favor of the auto. The transmission that folks aren't buying in larger margins should be the one with the upcharge as a business case to justify its existence rather...
I'm surprised about what Motor trend said about the manual in the Supra vs Z manual test. They are the only ones who thinks it's a horrible and rubbery feeling gearbox.
I love my setup! Armytrix Catless DP with stock exhaust and zero check engine light for over a dozen thousand miles. Sounds better/louder but I think will get the polished slightly bigger exhaust tips from SupraMod next for the finishing touches.
I love your taste in cars! Its either these two cars or the Supra and a Lotus Emira would make a good enough garage duo for me. Emira and Cayman GT4 is easily my favorite mini supercars.
At first I wanted the CF versions of these($160+) but for the price $75 plus the fact that it's the same gloss finish as the area it became a no brainier. I had the $10 ones from Amazon first and they worked up to almost 100 mph but I prefer the form/function of these instead.
It gets air from the snorkel behind the bumper as it is design with the hole in the housing. I agree with you on the top gasket. I thought it was there to seal the hood to the intake but its not even close enough for that. Thankfully I have the Verus turbo heat shield and hood vent so my intake...
I found on a site the shipping weight to be 45 lbs. If so that's great considering the box and fluff might be about 8lbs so I think around 37lbs is the weight of it.
