There's no coding that directly affects the gearbox or clutch operation that I can think of or even imagine. The only thing that could affect manual shifting for "some" may be the sharper more direct throttle response in Sport mode that some might find helpful for their "clutch/shifting timing"...
All forums tend to be pretty much the same in one fundamental these days and that is if you have a differing view then you're not part of the "club" and must therefore be admonished. It's just a reflection and magnification of our western culture at present.

You want to remove the gearbox to fit it or are you doing the clutch as well? I'm a bit meh about internal clutch slave cylinders. They are subject to more heat, harder to bleed, and if you get a leaking seal then it's gearbox out time. Advantage? no pivot arm( which never really fail) and no...
Zombie thread back after 3 years, nice. You should hear road noise here. They use "Chipseal" to resurface/make roads and highways. It's a coarse stoned bitumen and it's horrendously noisy and fatiguing on a long trip and you notice how bad it is when occasionally you hit a brand new stretch of...
There are other alternatives to #M tape which is obviously a great product. One disadvantage it has is you have to have the part perfectly positioned before you spply it to the body. I have used this in the past to attach lip wings etc. It's a quality product designed for this purpose and works...
You know I'm not a big fan of this sort of stuff for one reason only really. I'm not sure the components are actually engineered for this degree of repetitive usage. I know the windows drop every time the door opens and closes but this is a design necessity. Still makes me cringe though...
Ah youngsters, typing fingers engaged but brain elsewhere  . John McGuiness, fifth qualifier at the IOM TT this year is 52 years old and he's on a road circuit. Best lap speed is BTW the Average speed over the 37 mile long lap and the SBK race is 6 laps with 2 pit stops. Bit different to...
Could be a centre tail shaft bearing. Low mileage though. I have had them fail at low mileages recently, not on a Supra though. The rubber bearing support was fine the bearing had failed internally probably due to a lack of lubrication. In that case the first symptom was a very slight clunking...
