  2. 0W20 VS 5W30 VS 0W40 Motor oil for track use

Got my analysis kit waiting for my next oil change with Liquid Moly 5W-30 special tech. I'll wait until I get a few more events on my engine. I have 3 so far on this oil change. I did one track day in 2022 with the OEM 0W-20, but changed to 5W-30 we'll see how my engine looks at ~35K.
  3. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Best take away from today was how much tire pressure makes a difference. Wet skid pad at hot 40+ psi, drifto machino. Was able to initiate, recover, and sustain the drift for over 360 degrees on the skid pad which was a huge accomplishment. The AutoX circuit at this pressure was ?, but...

I just can't bring myself to sell her lol. Lot's of time, sweat, and $$ in that silly beetle thing. ?

This is my "momentum" car, a 2007 Cayman Base with a 5-speed and about 220hp at the wheels. She's currently in a state of flux, but eventually will get stripped, caged, full pillow ball suspension, and full aero. This car is right at the 12.5 lb/HP mark. I definitely cut some teeth on this...

  10. Autocross Street legal front camber adjustment

Unfortunately I'm at home now and don't have it in front of me. Just read the Street section rules. It's very clearly stated.
  11. Autocross Street legal front camber adjustment

Nope. Not legal according to the 2023 rule book. I can see at least three areas that specifically wouldn't allow this part substitution.

Here we fucking go. ? So by your logic until I reach the top 20% of drivers in SCCA AutoX I shouldn't modify or drive my car on track? Okay sport. Following this logic I should sell my Supra and buy a bone stock ND, which I have absolutely zero interest in doing. Been there, done that, have...
  13. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

I don't have any lap times to back up my decision to add sway bars to my car. What I did consider was several expert opinions both on and off of the forum, as well as photographic evidence that showed my car has significant body roll. The Cusco sway bars are a very mild upgrade and I'm happy...

Looks like it was a TON of fun!
  15. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Did you actually read the thread, or did you see it pop up on the front page and decide to offer your $0.02 without bothering to look at the context of what's being discussed?
  16. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

I got my set from Jackie Ding at PhD Racing, but it's a common part.
