  1. Which tuner provides the best track tune?

FWIW I had my transmission tuned by him for track use and had no issues. He was responsive via email and did a few updates based on my feedback and always responded quickly. Personally I think the XHP tunes are a little better for street use (there's a bit more of a delay on the 1-2 and 2-3...
  2. Which tuner provides the best track tune?

    What tuning platform?
  3. Roll Bars - Dashbuilt

That just means you don't need to weld, but a good bolt in cage is going to have spreader plates and probably require some drilling.
  4. Roll Bars - Dashbuilt

My buddy put his C7 into the wall at Road Atlanta T11 at >100mph and his harness bar survived, so I know they *can* do the job. Although unfortunate, good to know they've been tested. The Dashbuilt bar was the other safety piece I was looking at it. It's just obviously a lot more modification...
  5. Roll Bars - Dashbuilt

What are you running to support harnesses? A proper race seat and harness is on my list for 2026, but I have been leery because there aren't really safe ways to run a harness without a roll bar or cage. I know the Cusco bar is an option, but I am unsure how safe that is.
  6. Femto Full Bench Unlock

If I have already have a FEMTO unlock can a bench unlock be done remotely now?
  7. Post 2020 DME unlock with AutoTuner

Because they're the only stateside option.
  8. Formula 1 Talk

His car really wasn't any faster on the straights. His gains were in sector 2. Whatever they fixed, it seems like it was more to do with the balance of the car than just cranking the engine to 11. I read that Honda doesn't have a "party mode" map like the Mercedes engine does, either, although...
  9. Razorlab - 2020 LE build thread

That's gotta be an install error. The entire center bushing is missing, that shouldn't be possible.
  10. Razorlab - 2020 LE build thread

If it's the carrier bushing, look into the JXB carrier bearing support IMO. Easy install, good product, and he's a motorsports guy himself.
  11. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

In general I tend to err on the side of being cautious, but I also like having data. I would advise people who are making a habit of tracking the car to have their oil tested, not just because you may be able to run longer intervals, but you'll also get a baseline for your engine's metal wear...
  12. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I had my oil tested after 3 track days and it was perfectly fine FWIW. I run Redline 0W-40 which is safe (although certainly not ideal) up to 300F.
  13. Accidentally cut green brake pad sensor while changing pads

Probably. But I would just replace the wire, easy job and cheap.
  14. Circuitworx lower fender vent install notes

I really enjoy people being confidently wrong.
  15. T-56 Swap

Why would you do that when you can already build the auto for >1k whp and it will be faster than you shifting manually?
  16. T-56 Swap

For ~$11k all in, I'd sell my auto Supra and just buy a factory manual. Is there another purpose for this swap?
  17. Toyo Proxes R888R or Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 for stage 2 tune

The RE71RS is pretty capable in the rain. I've driven on track with them in the wet, no issues if you are using your head. Leave traction control on in heavy rain, the Supra TC is quite good in the wet.
  18. Full Caliper Rebuild Kit

I used the Racing Brake kit with the stainless pistons and had zero issues with it. The boots fit correctly. For capping the lines, I covered them with a small rubber cap like what you would use to cap a vacuum line, then zip tied it tighter around the line and then zip tied the line facing...
  19. **Official Lap Times Thread**

Here are my Garmin logs. Razorlab and a couple others here are friends with me on Catalyst and can confirm my times too.
  20. **Official Lap Times Thread**

Looking at my times, I think you looked at the time listed immediately in the video, and not at the end of the lap (when it updates). The correct times should be listed above the videos and then at the very end. Sorry, not intentionally making it difficult, that's just how Garmin exports the...
