Yep BM3 app freezes while logging for me more often than not. Even with airplane mode on, everything disabled except the WiFi connection, and using their adapter. Very frustrating.

What turbo do you have? A lot of the temperature is going to come from how efficient your turbo is and how hard you are pushing it.
