  1. Is uniden R7 really better than the R3 around town?

I have an R7 in the supra and a R3 in my Tacoma. Ive had both driving together on the same road at the same time and the R7 is far more sensitive. Definitely makes saves easier. Would I upgrade to an R7 from an R3? No. If you dont own anything yet though get the R7 its a better detector and is...
  2. Project Corvette Killer

No idea. Im sure someone has posted times at roughly that power level though. I would guess somewhere between 10.5-11.0 and like 120-130 trap. (Guessing)
  3. Wider front tires - tramlining?

I run 275 fronts and have very little tramlining. I have a great alignment though which has a big impact. If you can find someone that truly knows how to setup a car you wont have very much with this platform at least in my experience.
  4. 10K oil change?? Maybe not a good idea.

My Tacoma gets 1 year or 10k what ever comes first. Granted I use Amsoil and not the knock off stuff on sale at walmart. There is nothing wrong with a 10k interval assuming you use a quality synthetic oil. Ive had my oil tested at 10k/1yr multiple times and it could go even longer then that if I...
  5. Oil Level Analysis with EcuTek

Running lean can damage rings and ring lands. Id be curious as to what the piston, ring lands, rings, and the spark plugs looked like. Its quite common to have damage to the rings and lands when an engine goes lean under high power or poor tuning. Generally the engine otherwise looks ok, if its...
  6. Replacement or Pop-Out?

I accidentally put a decent mark in my front bumper while putting my splitter on. The body shop I use does top work and will not half ass a job even if you ask them to. He said in order to fix that small mark the whole front clip would need to be resprayed and blended properly. The main reason...
  7. Project Corvette Killer

You are gonna need tires and >450 at the wheels. My dad has a C8 z51, it puts down like 440-460 whp and weighs 3500. Supra weighs 3350, so its a bit lighter. I walk away at 480-500 wheel. Catted DP + exhaust, E50, RT660 @ 295, Ecutek, and 50/50 water/meth. Stock turbo. You can see stock vs...
  8. Flushing rear brakes was difficult

Just a guess but most likely used for manual versions where it can share the same fluid for the clutch master. For Autos they just pinch that off and plastic weld it. Cheaper to do that then have multiple parts.
  9. Flushing rear brakes was difficult

Im not a huge fan of those check valve bleeders. I used a motive power bleeder as well and had zero issues bleeding the rears or fronts.
  10. 6/20+ US based DME unlocks (no clone needed)

LOL, joke. Its called respect and being a decent person, Im shocked a Green Beret of all people wouldnt get that. You dont even work for for this company, and if you asked them I HIGHLY doubt thats how they would want this news to be posted.
  11. 6/20+ US based DME unlocks (no clone needed)

Maybe you need a reminder of what you wrote. You dragged politics into it by stating Russia and then the company itself. You didnt need to do that, you could have come in here and said here is a US unlock, this is the story, facts and move on. Instead you decided to mention a bunch of other shit...
  12. 6/20+ US based DME unlocks (no clone needed)

So every citizen of Russia does shady things? None of them can be decent people? The Russian government is shit, not every Russian agrees with the shit government.? Also take a look around, the US isnt that far away from having a full blown oligarch.
  13. 6/20+ US based DME unlocks (no clone needed)

What posts? I really dont care who or where unlocks my ECU. If someone can reliably unlock it, cool heres my money, next problem. I have not heard of a single issue with a Femto unlock. So yes shitting on them for no reason is a bit off putting. You can be against the war and not want to spend...
  14. 6/20+ US based DME unlocks (no clone needed)

I think the war has unfortunately caused a lot of people to lump everyone into a category when things are far more complex.
  15. TE37 SL

Which is funny because the paint they use is complete shit. Its thin and soft. My white 37s are already chipped after 6 months of use, a few track days, and 5k miles. They are gonna need to be resprayed at some point in the future. Great wheels, crappy paint. I dont understand peoples...
  16. TE37 SL

Just curious... did you ceramic coat them? Makes it far easier to keep clean if they are.
  17. HGK Subframe Bushings

    Haha, fair enough ?
  18. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

If we are completely honest though its generally provoked from one side to start with. The number of people that come up to me and say "Yo, you know thats a BMW right?" is quite a high number. When I drive the car often it happens at least once a week. Most of the time the people saying this are...

  20. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

This is all I needed to see. Its the same crap chassis that its always been. The internet will continue to hate the Supra, honestly its part of the reason I like the car so much. 2 seconds around this track is a decade for two cars that are in the same "class". I really do hope someone puts PSS...
