Let's try to solve this puzzle.
Someone posts a picture to the internet of an unreleased car and gives credit to two people. One person posts pics of friends, food, and go-karts. The other uploads pics of spy shots of camouflaged cars racing around tracks...
If Toyota had more of a sense of humor about itself, they'd show them wrapping an object where you could still totally tell what it was. Like a bicycle or a pet pony or something. Because that's what they've been doing to us already for the last year.
Translating a metallic color, to a matte (frost/frozen) one, is an extremely difficult task. Not one that I would want to tackle. I can't even imagine how many layers in PS would be required to get all of the refraction and reflection angles right.
As always, good work!
The Supra A90 is less expensive in terms of both inflation-adjusted dollars, and relative to the car market as a whole, than its predecessor. In 1993 the Supra MKIV had an MSRP of $39,900. That was 3 times the $13K asking price of the average new car. They were expensive cars.
So even if the...
That's the problem with how the press covers science and technology, it's too sensationalist for my taste. If you search for upcoming battery tech, you'll be greeted with articles about graphine nano-architecture and low temp solid-oxide fuel cells. All of which are decades away from being...
I'm curious... do you have a lot of experience driving RHD cars? I only ask because it would suck to go through all the trouble of importing and restoring Godzilla, only to find out you don't enjoy RHD. I know I didn't. (R33, Z33, R32, S15/14/13, vintage Mini, USPS Mail truck... haha) BTW - I'm...
Accuracy depends on who's making the predictions. If it's people like Popular Mechanics, then you can save your money and skip buying an electric car. Just wait until next summer when the flying ones come out!
Car guys in 2048...
Guy 1: "So I ditched the OEM 4 pole stator and went with the Maxwell Racing 6 pole. Of course that meant I had to swap out the controller. Picked up the HellaArc 400 for that. That way I can go asynchronous down the road if I want too..."
Guy 2: Nice! Why didn't you go with...
The A90 is obviously disadvantaged by wearing camo. Not to mention that both car's proportions are being distorted by perspective and the focal length of the camera's lens. In any case, I think both of them are very beautiful cars.
Yes. They're also available in all leather as well. Black/red and all black are your color choices.
NHTSA regulations mandate no more than a 55mm gap between the back of your head and the headrest... been that way for a while.
I've been keeping my emotions in check. I don't get excited or nervous about such things after living through the Honda S2000 debacle. For you see I wanted one of those so badly I could taste it. I slavishly followed every step of development from concept sketch to the showroom floor. Then I...
Just how I like my women! Petite, curvaceous hips, and she doesn't care if her vents are fake...
Yes, I stretched the last metaphor a bit too far, however you understand my point.
Plus Toyota wouldn't have to go through hassle of having to set up a licensing deal with Hanna-Barbara to use that stupid name "Gazoo" in North America.
