They look similar to Camry wheels, not a fan. And yes, the fronts look more like 225s than 255s. And yes, the calipers look small for a 400 hp car. Maybe this is the I6-non-turbo version :dunno:
Agree, think M2. It has way less stuff than the M4 and even less options than the M240. They market the M2 as a drivers car, where simple = better, but I'm sure a big part of keeping it simple and only having one interior color was to keep the cost down and the profits up!
Too funny. It may...
The Camaros and Mustangs offer some real bang for their buck in the higher trims. I don't have much personal experience driving them but the Z28 and GT350 supposedly handle very well and hide their weight well around the track. Not to mention they come with a manual and can make decent dailys...
No, I'm not big into aftermarket stuff. Intake, exhaust, and wheels are fine but an aftermarket tranny... I'm not that brave. I like to buy cars that are close to what I want stock.
No manual = no supra for me.
I agree... not buying this "bmw electronics" bs.
Also, why does Toyota talk all about how great this new 2.0 turbo is but never mention the hp? ...because its only 168 hp. Why cant they make it at least 220 to compete with the VW GOLF and all the other hot hatch cars with 200+ hp 2.0l engine...
Yes, I read this and this appears evident if you frequent rennlist where at least half of the people on the forum advocate for the PDK/AUTO tranny.
One interesting thing with p-cars is the difference in resale value for a manual vs. PDK. The manuals sell for more $$$ and sell quickly...
So, is there going to be a non-turbo I6 (starting at $45k) in addition to a 400 hp Turbo I6 (starting around $55k)? Then maybe a crazy fast Gazoo version for $80k?
Please God let there be a manual transmission!
None of my cars have TSS and I have never been in an accident in 20+ years of driving. I understand its benefits but personally don't want/need it.
I need a manual transmission in a sports car.
@Australian of The North - I see your point on economics and the ten ass monkey and I hope Toyota considers more than just the measurable economics of this. They may be able to predict with some level of confidence that they will sell 10,000 (hypothetical number I pulled out of thin air) Supras...
