I took mine last year, I didn't go this year. (I was between a Stagea and a Mk1 MX5 on the road from the entrance to the cafe) Do agree that it is a brilliant show, and I will 100% go next year with the Supra. East Meets West at Wilton House is good too - I did that last year & this in the LC.

In other news, I forgot to mention above that the ZL1 stone guards have been fitted too - they suit the car quite well. Finally got my V5 through so could swap the plates over! :spaz: The rear one is fine, but I forgot to actually do any kind of test fitting with the offset front plate holder...

That's interesting, and it shows what a difference a dealer can make when it comes to setting your mind at ease! I wonder if there is going to be a facelift or if this is it?

I'd avoid too much blending in of the clutch, just feed it in quickly and smoothly, moderate any traction issues with the throttle not the clutch. I haven't abused mine at all yet, but from what I've seen of other people it puts it down well with no axle tramp etc.

I'm certainly no expert on the B58, but that graph looks like a very nice delivery - the obvious thing there is the way the torque peaks at mid RPM and drops off. That to me is an indication that you are not able to get air in and exhaust gases out fast enough. I've seen a few aftermarket...

What is the power/torque curve like with the current setup? Are you pursuing 600bhp for a specific reason? IME chasing a number results in a lot of £££ for something that can be quite peaky and unpleasant to drive.

I did Simply Japanese last year in the LC and it was a good day out - my first proper Jap meet in 10 years IIRC! (Shame the LOC don't really organise club meets - went down with a guy in a lovely RCF and bullied a lot of Nissan's en-route...) I'm up for a few meets once I get her back from...

I'm with Elephant - car is now in for the Akra so went online to get a quote for modifiying the exhaust.... ...£13 admin fee and that's it - no change to premium! :D

I'll give that a go - the V5 for the LC500 came through really quickly, (I took a plate off that during the sale) so surprised nothing has appeared yet for this one!

My ZL1's arrived today, as did the adapter to move the plate to the towing eye. Car goes in tomorrow morning for the correction, detailing & coating - they will also fit the plate holder and stone guards at the same time. (+ the Akarapovic back box) Looking forward to this as not actually...

Have you had the clutch delay valve removed? Has it made much of a difference?

If you put good people into Ferrari they just get eaten. It took Brawn years to make them work as a cohesive team and it pretty quickly fell apart after he moved on...
