  1. Downpipe Install Help

Update, still completely seized. Can’t make any movement whatsoever. Been hitting it with a mallet through a piece of cardboard. Gonna go to the store to buy some Liquid Wrench or something and try that
  2. Downpipe Install Help

Update! Got the V band off but now I can’t get it loose from the catback. Seized pretty bad; I’m going to just keep hitting it with a mallet to loosen it up
  3. Downpipe Install Help

I've been tapping it with a ratchet and flathead to get it this far. I'll try giving it more force with a hammer.
  4. Downpipe Install Help

Car is jacked up on the front, and on ramps. I’ve been trying to take out the stock DP for a while now but I still can’t shake it loose enough to take out. Looking for some advice on the following: 1. I can't really bend the "clip" in this video at 5:07 -- https://youtu.be/OrLT-w_X39E?t=305...
  5. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I was leaning towards SRF until I read a @razorlab post that said SRF didn’t feel good compared to the others.
  6. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Speaking of your brakes thread, what’s the general take on Endless vs Torque vs SRF brake fluid?

Do you know if the CRS or RE71RS would be a magnet for road debris? Leaning towards these two right now

I thought V730s [B-] were more likely to kill you in the rain than any of the other Super 200s (B) (according to the chart)? Also does RE71RS [A] really do better than ECFs (B) in wet performance?
  9. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

4-6 days a year. I drive to/from the track though, about 120mi each way. I'll do some research and consider Conti ECFs. Hmm good to know. I don't drive too much besides to/from the track and occasional weekend twistys. Probably less than 3k a year.
  10. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Does anyone know if RE-71RS 285/35/19 will fit on stock rear wheels? I should probably just play it safe with 275s since I don't want to run spacers on the track. Also any opinions on RE-71RS vs. Conti ECS (original) for a street+track tire? I was set on RE-71RS but a friend told me that Conti...
  11. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Does anyone know how well TSW Neptunes hold up on the track?
  12. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Would 275/35/18 fit OEM wheels well? I'm trying to keep stock wheels & suspension. Seems like some people on forums have done 265/35/19 FF & 285/35/19 RR without issue, but V730s don't come in either of those lol. Other tire suggestions are welcome (if it matters, the track is Thunderhill)
  13. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Rip, I was hoping to run square 275/35/19 since I don't think V730s are available in 255 or 265/35/19. Saving a bit of money on tire rotation is always good, though not my primary concern. Do you know if 265/35/19s will fit on front OEM? Or 285/35/19s on rear OEM?
  14. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Would 275/35/19s V730s fit on front stock wheels? Also, why do so many people run square setups on this platform? On other platforms I've generally heard the opposite (a staggered setup for superior handling).

  16. Jb4 custom tuning: an honest discussion.

I feel like with all the info in Colonel’s thread, you probably have enough clues to DIY map 6 on an AT at least
  17. Brake lines

For tracking is it recommended to replace OEM with something like the stainless Forge brake lines? And is there a video somewhere on how to do so?
  18. WTB>400 cell catted DP / Verus Diff Cooling Plate & Heatshield & Cylinder Brace
