Honestly, it is incredibly refreshing to hear that Tada-san is very happy about this project and was incredibly passionate during its development. People can achieve incredible things when they are motivated by passion rather than trying to appease hard to please fans or make a lot of money. I...
That is a hilarious analogy, but I disagree with the underlying sentiment. The fake vents do serve a function; they're an astheticaly pleasing design element. Whether you agree with that is a matter of personal taste. Yet this type of thing is common. Carmakers add all sorts of lines...
So guys I got myself a puppy recently and was up at 5:05 a.m. to take him out for a poop. Anyway, I opened up the Goodwood livestream and lo and behold it was Supra time. I got some ghetto screenshots best I could boys. Enjay.
I think a bit of this was lost in translation. You can't completely ignore practicality and comfort. To me it seems as though practicality and comfort were an afterthought and came second to performance and handling. You shouldn't expect a Lexus style experience but shouldn't be too farfetched...
This guy has 1 post, joined today, and not interested in Supra...sounds like a well planned and coordinated leak XD, as far as I'm concerned, this is the latest information. Great.
Hopefully the lowest trim is in a reasonable range.
Ya, and to be honest, I'm not sure why people keep quoting the price of the previous Supra as a reason to justify its cost. The Supra was discontinued because of a lack of sales, was it not? Why put it in the same price bracket? Especially today?
Back in the 90s it was ground breaking...but...
Lol, I see this kind of response all the time. Tada-san was quoted in an interview saying that this Supra will have the "level of quality" people expect from Toyota products. As far as price gouging goes, parts I can live with, but the extra cost per hour of labor that BMW charges vs Toyota is...
Not to mention it's the official car of NATO and is engineered for a 25 year life span. Some people just want shiny toys though and can't see the value in such a vehicle.
Honestly it couldn't have worked out better for me. I've always wanted a BMW but did not want to deal with all the maintenance, reliability issues, or price gouging. I've always respected Toyota for their perspective on reliability. So to have Toyota building a BMW...dreams do come true lmao
