Can't know that for sure. When I used to be a lot porter at a dealership I'd rip ass in as many cars as I could just so I could take that away from the first owner. Who knows how many other lot porters are out there just ripping ass in all the cars on the lot
I always thought downshifting in this car without iMT felt kind of weird and clunky/required way more throttle pedal than seemed normal. All of my other cars are MT and I can crack downshifts off just fine in them but this one always felt a bit clunky.
Thankfully atleast iMT does it really...
Most of my Canadian Stuff I ordered from Park Auto Motorsports in Kitchener, with the exception of my wind deflectors which I got from Touge Tuning because they had them in stock already.
I will add, you can sign up for a service like Shippsy or CrossBorderPickups and it will give you a US...
As someone who looked at getting these a while back before switching to something else, I hope I can answer some of your questions.
First and foremost is the lip question, Normal Lip Vs. Stepped. The easiest way to explain this, is a normal lip is flat and goes straight down to where the wheel...
Use a service like Shippsy or CrossBorderPickups. It gives you a US address to ship items to and then they'll bring it across the border and give you a pickup location.
I use CBP personally and they have a pickup location on Kamato Road in Mississauga that makes it pretty convenient
Fortune Auto now has a HAS kit, ranges from stock height to -38MM. It deletes the front spring perch like the HKS kit, but allows you to adjust the rear ride height without having to drop the rear lower control arm like the HKS kit. Seems like a decent option for people who want ease of...
I've been happy with my Eibachs. I have an MT so it's -0.9" Front and -0.8" rear
Running 265/35/19 and 285/35/19. This is how it looks after the springs settled/getting an alignment. No rubbing, no clunking, steering feels normal.
The only thing I did was add some additional spring silencers...
I didn't. I ended up ordering a set of Advan GT Beyonds that shipped in before the A90 Spec 21A's ever became an option at System.
I'm sure the 21A's would look killer though in any colour on this platform
Your car will have the factory bare aluminum strut braces. I upgraded mainly for aesthetics but went with the RacingBees Strut bar, identical to the Blitz apart from the logo and it's a fair bit cheaper
You'd have to tie/hold down the washer fluid lines that run along the top of the hood and remove the engine cover, but other than that it should be perfectly fine. The car will otherwise probably yell at you the whole time saying the hood is open but that won't stop you from being able to drive it.
These are new, I just noticed them a few weeks back. They seem like a cross between HKS/MSS in that, they delete the spring perch in the front, but you can adjust the rears without having to drop the control arm like the HKS ones.
Based on Fortune Auto's picture for the rear, it looks like you...
With a bright colour like yellow, it's best to stick to details/accents as opposed to changing the whole seat colour.
IE, deviated sticking and/or having the Badge logo sewn into the headrest area.
It's a Boxster Spyder seat, but as an example:
Sard Ti-Z comes in at 11.6kg (stock is 25kg). It's full Titanium, dual tip and keeps the valve and meets JASMA requirements which means it's not much louder than stock.
It's pricy though
I'd take that to a different shop for an alignment. Your "after" specs look worse than my "before" ones from prior to the alignment I got after installing lowering springs.
Small/minute differences side to side aren't the end of the world (Like an extra -.01 degrees of toe or something) but it...
You're right! The Q300 was another different one that they were prototyping, or maybe brought out. It was a true Q300 (Big suitcase muffler with a valve). The Gemini (or R400) always had the stacked cans, and then the N1 had small resonators, I remember now from when I had a BRZ.
Either way...
