For the 1/4 at this power I think it would potentially hurt more than it would help. Crossing through the traps at ~6200RPM in 5th. However I do think it would improve the 60-130 considerably which comes at ~6500RPM where it's long out of breath.
Side note: JB4 MPH reading is way off...
2nd pass dragy -- heatsoak took a major toll on the 60-130. Next time out I need to try shifting into 6th. Don't mind the Q50 giving me the business...!
The app keeps crashing when trying to export the 3rd run.
Normally I do but you have to understand this track. It is all about grudge racing, gambling, etc.. It's a cultural experience. I usually don't get caught up in that but.....
I hit up another TnT at a different track to see if I could make some improvements. The only change being a @Jesse DaBears custom map 6. Initially I had issues with maxing the fuel trims due to high E content and abnormally cool weather so we had very little time to get things dialed in...
Now that's some carnage! Appreciate it being shared; a lot of times this stuff doesn't get talked about. FWIW, I have the dubious honor of windowing a stock 2JZ block back in the alphabet soup piggyback, no failsafe days.
How much power was this setup making and how long did it live?
You will not get a CEL with a GESI cat and it will make the same power on a stock turbo vs catless. Get the JB4 (and have Jesse tune it) or don't mess with the boost. Either is a fine option; the JB+ is not, IMO. The datalogging capability of the JB4 is worth a good portion of the cost of entry.
60' and likely some traction issues in the short track. Overall the incrementals track to the 60'.
I've had great success with R888 on the street, 1/2 mile, etc... Never worked at all on the drag strip for me.
My wife and I are doing a 2 week destination road trip and have a 3LT Z51 convertible rented through Turo. Looking forward to getting acquainted since I haven't had a chance to drive one yet. Everyone I knew that had one sold/flipped in short order for a redonk profit.
E98 is a helluva drug!
Trims previously peaked in the low 40's on the street and the first few runs so I called it good. On that 11.2 they were indeed up there. I dragy'd the last 2 runs so no logs.
I have my own map 6 recipe I'm going to try to see if I can correct the over...
Just speaking from my own personal experience through literally hundreds of passes and dozens of cars. But like I said, it really just depends on what's going on. I'd really love for that to be true in all cases!
The issue I'm trying to mitigate is if the rear guibo fails the driveshaft whips around and will burst the fuel tank. Titan has a safety loop that should address that, but I'd prefer to prevent a failure to begin with.
Ehh... It really really REALLY depends on what's going on -- bogging vs spinning, etc.. Frankly I have never seen a 2:1 ratio; more like 1.25 - 1.5 absolute best, but it really depends on a lot of factors. In many cases it's 1:1.
RE: axles -- this is highly debatable. Ask 3 people and get...
Everything off, all the time. It will only allow me to stall up to ~2800RPM; the throttle closure keeps it from going higher and building more boost. I believe brake boosting and holding it was a mistake. A tip I got, which I will try as soon as the weather cooperates, is to go WOT and as...
