With every car I’ve ever owned. I kept OEM parts.
when I sell my car, I find it easier to sell with stock parts as the plane Jane won’t care or pay more for upgraded parts.
I would then offer to sell the performance parts for an extra cost or sell them used online.
I also suggest for everyone...
Hey sorry ignore what I said before. I just saw you said full e85.
you will need flex fuel lines and a tune
my response was for running e30 since that is what I am doing currently.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
But nothing other than an OTS tune or piggyback to get more bang for your buck.
a downpipe would help but I think our stock pipe can handle it.
Does anyone know how good / sensitive the Supra’s anti-theft system is?
Will the alarm go off if someone tries to open the door, smash a window, or possibly even get too close to it?
I’m in St. Louis Mo too. Unfortunately I can only allow for 1 Supra to be here.
meet me at the abandoned chesterfield mall to settle this.
But I was looking at that CAI actually. Why do you want to sell it?
I’m getting MHD to back end flash the JB4 and it’s $80. However, for the OTS maps MHD is $150.
my question is, does the $150 MHD pack come with the bef tunes? Also, if I just get the bef tunes for $80, can I then upgrade to the $150 version of MHDs maps for only $70 vs spending another $150?
I agree. I was between a 2021 for 58k or a 2020 for 50k. I talked them down to 47k for the 2020 and told myself that I could save the 11k difference in getting more than 50hp
I think the dealer just wants money and the issue was with the sensor.
I had a VW CC rline before the Supra. It always threw up codes due to all the sensors the car had. I would just blow out the dust, turn the car back on. And code was gone.
Id suggest to see where a leak may be coming from first. Regardless, car is under warranty so it’s a free fix.
Things I’ve done in the past is:
1. Cardboard underneath car to see if there is a leak
1a. See if it’s a hose leak or clamp not on tight
2. When the car is cool, hasn’t been driven for...
I was in the same boat and did some research.
I found out that I could pay $1000 for AA catted downpipe that states no CEL codes are thrown or I could go catless with a tune.
I decided to go catless and have the JB4 with a MHD bef.
the Bef resolves the issue. The JB4 can’t legally clear the...
