Maybe that cop just liked putting handcuffs on guys like homeboy scion racer this weekend in the FRS. All joked aside, probably a "let me teach him a lesson" moment and scare him so I can let him go. If you ever wanted to sue though, I know a guy:
9k after 2-3 years?? Definitely garage kept isn't it? I have had mine since February and barely have 2,375 miles on it so maybe I'm on pace to match you ?
Got it. Yeah and this just happened after I installed the downpipe so I'm sure the downpipe installation moved the entire exhaust system enough to start the rattle.
The Mustangs never seize to amaze me. Just had the weirdest experience over the weekend. Scion FRS pulled up next to me getting onto the highway and I could here he had an engine swap (sounded like a 2jz or something very similar) and I noticed the loud spooling of the turbo. He quickly cut...
I hate to admit it, but there is something about the ideal client for a Charger or Challenger that creates that stereotype. Sometimes I don't even consider those Mopar boys true car guys.
Sorry to revive an old thread. I bought an ARK DT-S Exhaust a few months ago and installed an Active Autowerks catted downpipe over the weekend. Now I hear rattling while at low rpms or idling. Do you think it's the cross bar?
Can't even run to the grocery store now a days without someone wanting to race. You aren't far from me. You guys also have a lot of the Challenger, Charger fanboys in L.A.?
Jeep people have their waive/thumbs up. I wonder if Supra owners have their waive as well. Every time I see another MKV owner I do the peace sign and usually get it right back.
It took 2-3 years, but there is soo much aftermarket support for the MKV now a days. 2 port or 6 port, the aftermarket will gladly take our money to build our vehicles.
I have owned a good amount of cars in my not so long lifetime (38 years old) and I have never owned a car like the MKV, that gets revved at or dared to race on the streets as much as this vehicle. In the 6 months I have owned my MKV, I have been dared to race so many times I have lost count and...
I will agree with the cheaper parts and more after market support. I just left my shop, Speed Logic in Orange County, California and they work on a lot of MKVs and that's what they said. Cheaper to build the lighter Supra to 500-600HP than it is to build the G87 with the famous "M Tax" on all...
