  1. Here's your reminder to track your Supra

This is where I've ended up. The car started as a comfy-ish street car that I tracked on occasion. Now, keep making more and more changes to it that's made it pretty uncomfortable on our shitty roads and honestly just not as enjoyable unless I'm on track with it. Rare that it leaves my garage...
  2. Here's your reminder to track your Supra

I liked Buttonwillow a lot. Went last year for GTA Finals, probably go to that event again later this year. I've noticed that in general with this platform. Most have the car just for cosmetics, and you've got the drag racing crowd. Isn't much when it comes to road course use. Hoping to grow...
  3. Here's your reminder to track your Supra

This. CSG pads and good fluid. OEM rotors will take plenty of abuse.
  4. Here's your reminder to track your Supra

Brakes. Brakes definitely need attention. Otherwise, yeah just sorting out the shit factory alignment these all seem to come with.
  5. What did you do to your Supra today?

Diff oil and engine oil change. Manual has the diff capacity at 1.1 quarts, pulled just under half a quart out. These are known to weep with use, be sure to check it more regularly.
  6. Set Up Advice

Set on the Cup 2s? SPL arms up front and the caster bushings help a ton and let you add some much needed negative camber. IMO though I think the 275 is too wide for the stock front wheels. Yes it'll fit, but you lose feel/feedback if the tire is being pinched in to fit the wheel. FWIW, I was...
  7. GingerMan open track day

Nice! Headed there in June for Gridlife.
  8. Transmission and Differential fluid change

Just the fill plug. I'm using a pump to pull the old fluid out and to refill.
  9. Every New Supra comes with One Year NASA Membership

Harness bar didn't work well for me, couldn't get spot metering to work correctly and everything outside of the car was just blown out from brightness. I use an adhesive mount on my helmet for everything now or a suction cup with it on the windshield.
  10. Transmission and Differential fluid change

Kits I'm not sure on. I ordered the fill plugs from my local dealer and had them in 2 days. O ring comes on the new plugs and went to Redline 75W90.
  11. What did you do to your Supra today?

    Maintenance
  12. RichSC/@iknowrich 2020 LE TA build

I think it did, and without making it just awful to drive. Front end I felt wasn't really where I wanted it till I added the splitter, but wasn't terrible.
  13. RichSC/@iknowrich 2020 LE TA build

Little bit of imbalance there. Not crazy like I felt out of control or anything, but the front end didn't have the grip I wanted/needed with faster sweepers. I was also on the HKS springs and factory struts at the time. The springs were good for the added clearance, but were still on the soft...
  14. RichSC/@iknowrich 2020 LE TA build

2021: Now was getting into wanting to do a little more with the car. Got a set of HKS springs on order and an LG carbon front lip. Think it was March when the Tomei finally released and got that on order ASAP. Did a couple lapping days with the car like this and then added the Verus wing towards...
  15. RichSC/@iknowrich 2020 LE TA build

2020: When I first got the car, took it easy for the first 6-700 miles then took it to the track completely stock. 1000 miles hit, went to a Titan downpipe, Titan pro tune module, H&R springs and spacers. The same stuff probably 80% of owners do. Quickly decided I wanted more and went to BM3...
  16. RichSC/@iknowrich 2020 LE TA build

Figured I'd start one of these to not only document what I've been doing with the car but to share info with others that are using this platform primarily for track driving. I know I've personally run into issues here and there and one place I've searched for answers is this forum, but most...
  17. Falken RT660 Review - 2500 miles to the Tail of the Dragon

Hear that, used to race bikes too. I rarely drive the car on the street anymore so it stays on the T7s and A052s. Considering going back to the Falkens though. Not quite as fast as the Yokos, but they wear a lot better and don't cost nearly as much. I had looked at the RB rotors too, I'll have...
  18. Falken RT660 Review - 2500 miles to the Tail of the Dragon

Definitely a tire better suited for track use. I was using 265/35 and 295/35 when I still had the car on TEs and the fronts destroyed the front plastic fender liners from rubbing. CSG pads and a better fluid will be good for most uses. No need to go crazy right away with a BBK. AMS manifold...
  19. KW V1 vs Fortune 500

I have Fortune 510s on the car now, have been happy with those. Primarily a track car so don't have a ton to offer in terms of feedback on street use. I have no experience with KW though.
