Figured I'd start one of these to not only document what I've been doing with the car but to share info with others that are using this platform primarily for track driving. I know I've personally run into issues here and there and one place I've searched for answers is this forum, but most threads are dead ends.

Anyway, got the car in December 2019, 2020 Launch Edition #86. Coming from a 2016 HyperBlue STi that I did a couple DEs with and was at the time still racing motorcycles. Figured I'd do the same with the Supra, few small upgrades, nothing crazy with some occasional track use.

Things stayed that way for the most part till spring '21. Had decided I wasn't going to be racing bikes anymore and wanted to start doing more with the car, specifically time attack. Since then, its just been upgrading things that have started to fall short as I got faster with the car. Did some local SCCA TT events during 2021, Track Battle with Gridlife at PPIR and drove out to Buttonwillow in Cali for GTA Finals.

Events for this year:
February - Super Lap Battle at COTA
April - first round of local SCCA time trials
June - GridLife Midwest Festival at Gingerman Raceway
July - round 3 and 4 SCCA
August - GridLife Mid Ohio and round 5 SCCA
September - GridLife Alpine Horizon and Round 6 SCCA
October - GridLife Heartland Park
November- GTA Finals at Buttonwillow

Current mod list and how it sits:

Suspension/Brakes:

Fortune Auto 510 coilovers
RSR EDC cancelers
SPL front lower control arms
SPL front caster bushings
SPL rear toe links and eccentric lockouts
Eibach front sway bar
18x10.75 squared Titan7 TS-5
OEM rotors, CSG C21/C11 and Castrol SRF

Engine:
AMS intake manifold
AMS charge pipe
MST intake
Visconti Flex Fuel kit
Titan catless downpipe
Tomei single exit exhaust
Tuned by Jeff Payn

Aero and Interior/safety:
Verus Engineering front splitter
Verus Engineering UCW wing
EVS front fenders
Bride Zeta IV carbon/aramid
Bride seat base/sliders
Sparco 6 point
Cusco harness bar

COTA really showed where the car is now lacking. Fuel starve was prevalent unless I had the tank completely full before each session and will need to be looking at shaving some more weight where I can.

2020: When I first got the car, took it easy for the first 6-700 miles then took it to the track completely stock. 1000 miles hit, went to a Titan downpipe, Titan pro tune module, H&R springs and spacers. The same stuff probably 80% of owners do. Quickly decided I wanted more and went to BM3 around Feb. 2020, and then met Jeff Payn as he's local to me and made the switch to ECUtek once that was going, around April if I recall. Added the Rexpeed duckbill and TEs beginning of summer and the car stayed that way until early 2021.

2021: Now was getting into wanting to do a little more with the car. Got a set of HKS springs on order and an LG carbon front lip. Think it was March when the Tomei finally released and got that on order ASAP. Did a couple lapping days with the car like this and then added the Verus wing towards the end of May and the EVS fenders. Car stayed this way through 2021, all of the other upgrades I threw at the car in preparation for this season.

Nice! Fellow Absolute White LE track driver here.

How was the cars balance with just the Verus wing, without the verus front splitter?

Little bit of imbalance there. Not crazy like I felt out of control or anything, but the front end didn't have the grip I wanted/needed with faster sweepers. I was also on the HKS springs and factory struts at the time. The springs were good for the added clearance, but were still on the soft end of things.

Did you feel that it added stability to the rear with just the wing, without making it an understeer machine?

I'm on MCS coilovers and SPL bits.

I think it did, and without making it just awful to drive. Front end I felt wasn't really where I wanted it till I added the splitter, but wasn't terrible.
