Detonation. Turn the smoothing down to 0 and I bet the curve is very jagged throughout the pull. If so, it's leaning on the adaptive timing to keep it on the bleeding edge.
Uncorrected means the actual HP/TQ the dyno recorded (aka the real number). The Correction Factor is a multiplier that will increase/decrease the actual value based on atmospheric conditions -- barometric pressure, temp and humidity -- in attempt to standardize the number. In this case the SAE...
Bummer. 27psi on a fuel system reported to be maxxed at 24psi might have something to do with it. Seems it could have been a tuning mistake vs. failure from being over-powered. An 8474 EFR should be some where in the 700WHP range at those levels.
Ah, that's right -- I forgot you know the MXA guys as well (probably better than I). I'm looking to run a number in my Supra, so I am absolutely in to throw down $$ for a rental, prepped lane, etc.. I can round up a few other worthy cars as well if we need to get a group. I like Rockingham...
P0141 generally indicates the sensor itself is bad; specifically the heater circuit within the sensor and/or associated wiring. If the mini cat wasn't working well enough I would expect a catalyst inefficiency code like a P0420. I'd check continuity and replace the sensor before anything else.
Well done -- those wheels really set it off!
Congrats again on the 11.5, especially considering how horrendous the prep (or lack thereof) was and DA was ~2800'. I'm considering hitting up the MXA guys that I'm acquaintances with (they sponser the TnT) to see if I can reserve a lane...
I've not personally used these (yet) but have heard nothing but good results from other users: https://www.fabspeed.com/universal-o2-spacer-with-catalytic-converter-single/
Nice! Do you have a downpipe? CES went 11.22 @ 120 last night at Darlington with their downpipe, tune, radials and MS109.
Darlington's Saturday TnT is during the day so I'll be heading to Rockingham. If I can carve out enough time to prep the Supra I'll have it out, but my fallback will...
Both Rockingham and Darlington are doing TnT Saturday so I'll be at one of them. Not yet sure which car I'm taking at this point but if I go to the Rock I'll keep an eye out for you.
RE: Supraforums --
It's no secret SF (and a LOT of other aging platform forums) has been on the traffic decline for years, due in large part to Facebook and other social media outlets. The ownership changes years back also gets an honorable mention for driving people away. The recent...
Assuming a good ECU, tune and fuel the general guideline for a happy stock bottom end 2J is keeping the revs at 8000RPM max and <700WTQ, regardless of the WHP it puts out. Ethanol fuel and turbo tech has resulted in a lot of windowed blocks these days due to the massive difference in TQ...
I can specifically name at least one; the others I don't recall names, since much of that dialog was contained in threads that got deleted and/or heavily 'moderated' several months ago. I believe there is a (or at least was - as this person has a tendency to strategically delete posts)...
