Haha cool. Very few supras here, have only ever seen one other in the city. Welcome to check it out if you're around Brooklyn at all, though the fun parts don't go on till later this week.
Is there a way to manually specify desired tire pressures? I see the procedure in the manual, where it resets to the current pressure, but that seems kind of imprecise because the pressure may change during the calibration, or vs the reading from the pump. Curious if anyone knows an...
They say 3-4, can be faster. My boost logic showed up in about a week despite the long estimate. Kind of no big deal.
Compare that to the 11 month wait for a voltex wing, haha!
They called it a "Head unit reflash" I think, which sounds different from ECU reflash. More about the stereo/navigation?
Coincidentally I took delivery of an a91 just a couple days before the hold and have a small, kinda funny navigation issue. The voice prompt for "turn right" is...
On my 21 there's one odd issue where the gps voice prompts say "turn left" when the actual instruction should be "turn right." The screen(s) show the correct information, it's just the voice. It's only rights getting turned into lefts, not the other way around. Basically the gps lady is an...
Do you agree or disagree that rear end stability is improved? I've seen it mentioned in either the context of heavy acceleration (which you're more likely to have experienced), or braking from very high speed (less common situation). Sometimes called bump steer but there's some disagreement on...
Agree, in California you just can't touch the downpipe. Tried to get a modified car through that process once,
no dice, not even close!
Edit: Read the wrong location, thought you were in CA. In Texas I think you get by with a good quality catted downpipe...
Most exhaust videos on...

He has a bunch of youtube vids too, more of the races than the setup details, but a bit of both.
Ah you're in NYC? Nice, me too.
How do you find space to work on the car, and what tracks you thinking of trying?
Nice wheels, was also thinking of doing a second set for the track, though it hadn't occurred to me to step down a size. What size tire are you looking to fit?

The gloss black is a bit cheaper bc it's just plastic, not CF like the others. Matches the other glossy black plastic in the area well though.
Installed the AMS gloss blacks today ($130). Totally worked for getting rid of the buffeting, though tbh I didn't think it was that huge of an issue. Noticeable sure, annoying... not very. Individual specific I'm sure.
The AMS pieces were good quality, though I didn't think the fit was...
That sucks, hope it's crackable. @Marshall@ViscontiTuning, give a shout if it's useful to have another A91 to test, assuming you're in CT that's not a long drive for me. As long as it won't end up bricked.
Ended up with the akrapovic, got a decent enough price when I ordered it together with an exhaust. Can't quite figure out which HJS cat it is, besides being one of the HD models, which is clear from the winding.
Nice piece though, just waiting on the exhaust now.
Think the Z's got a few nice things going for it. Little more muscle-car-ish styling and the manual will get it some fans.
The grill is definitely unique, don't like it at first but we'll see. Lots of people don't like the supra's Fauxmula1 nose.
No regrets on the supra so far though, phew!
