Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5w30 (non L spec) is impossible to find. I had to go with 5w40 for this reason. Pennzoil Platinum Euro L 5w30 (LL04) is technically the wrong spec for a US gasoline BMW engine. I'm sure you can run it...but the non L spec (LL01) is the correct spec to get for our cars. I'm...
Good question, but from what I can gather here, it's just fuel economy standards for low viscosity oils, which really shouldn't be used in our cars if you care about actual engine protection.

This is what you want in Pennzoil (Shell) spec as it covers both BMW LL01 and Porsche A40 specifications. It's impossible to find 5W30 in this spec in the US, so went with 5W40 which should hold up...
Ignore latest post. We should be using the LL01 approved oil in our engines and not LL04. Apparently LL04 is suitable for diesel and gasoline BMW engines in Europe, but here in the US the sulphur content in our gas is higher and the non L branded Euro spec or LL01 is recommended and not LL04.
Is this what your bottles looked like ("Euro L")? If so, this is like $10 cheaper than Amazon's price.

Did some more digging and found out it's just rebadged Shell Helix Ultra oil, which is a very good GTL based oil. Yep, pulling the trigger for sure now. Where do you buy yours from?
2JZ owner directly after losing every race to both the 2.0 & 3.0 "BMW" Supra's - "All is well, as it should be, perfect!" The fanboy logic is absurdly hilarious. ?
Did you ever get this resolved? I think I have the same issue after installing Swift springs and pretty sure it's the bearings as well. It's not that bad tbh, but instead of buying new OEM mounts, I may just get the Vorshlag camber plates and be done with it.
Should be a very nice sounding system. I did something similar in a previous car with Focal amp, Mosconi DSP, and Audiofrog speakers/subs. How much is this setup running you? I almost bit the bullet on a similar Audison setup on my previous car...always wanted to audition their stuff.
Theoretically yes, that is what this device should do, although you may want to confirm compatibility by directing them to this thread first. What is the price? Their site doesn't seem to list prices at all.

I FINALLY got some great info today from Doug at MSC-America (US distributor for Audiotec Fischer) regarding a plug and play (ish) amp solution after showing him this link. I'll post a screenshot of the email below:
@tadda Looks like they've already done some configurations like you suggested...
I agree with this and it's something I will probably explore after completing the mods you've laid out here in the thread (just waiting for all of the parts to ship). Thanks for the great write up btw!
I also remember you saying somewhere that you had a drop in amp that you were going to...
