Just had an interesting thought...Bavsound Stage 1 drop in speakers paired with the this kit. Technically the amp should power them just fine since they're designed to be dropped in with the stock amp. :hmm:
Maybe I'll do a before and after comparison...
EDIT: Or better yet, maybe I'll do the...
I just preordered it. The 30 day lead time is going to be painful, but I'll post my thoughts when I have everything installed and spend a day or two auditioning it.
Exactly. I think $2500 is probably right around the sweet spot if not just a bit high. But I know they put a lot of time and effort into the development of their products and tuning and making it as simple for the end user as possible. I've heard 60+ hours for tuning alone for some vehicles and...
Cool. So these systems are clearly not for you. However they have worked for 1000's of other users across different vehicles - in fact I don't think I've read a single negative review ever. I'm sure the OEM Audio+ team has spent a lot more than a few dozen hours tweaking this system and I don't...

This is the owner of the car in the installation video. I'm pretty sure they use a rebadged Match UP 7BMW amp/DSP + the Helix SDMI25 as the MOST interface device.
Much better option than the manufacturers recommended oil.
If you get the M340i kit from FCP Euro, they'll rebate you for every oil change kit thereafter (aka free oil changes).
And you vastly exaggerate the climate benefits of running a 0W20. Why even take the chance of "extra damage" if it's not necessary? If you're so concerned with the climate, buy a Tesla.
Great point! Clearly this is proof that a 0W20 makes more sense then in a typical street tuned Supra with significantly more power than a stock one. Only 1000+ hp drift cars should add extra engine lubrication, but definitely not 450+ hp 450+ torque Supra's on the street.
Who thinks that? Lol, most people confuse it with "weight" when it actually means Winter. Oil definitely thins out the hotter it gets - there's no debate there.
If you don't care about the warranty the Rotella T6 is fine. However if anything does goes wrong, you'll be stuck with the bill as it's not a BMW approved oil spec. I'm not disagreeing with you that T6 is a good oil btw, but BMW will never approve any warranty work if they take oil samples.
Nobody said it was a conspiracy, but it's a fact that backdoor corporate deals are taken and accepted from EPA regulators in the car industry. That is a fact sir, not a conspiracy. You do what you feel is right, but I'll take the advice of all knowledgeable enthusiasts, reputable tuners, and...
The preferred oil is 0W20 in Sweden because of their ridiculous EPA policies. It has nothing to do with being better for the engine. That is ALWAYS the case when these thin oils are recommended. Backdoor climate deals + exchanges of money...
What was wrong with the left rear hub specifically other than the bolts? Why did that one need replacing and the others didn't?
It's cool that they didn't take advantage of you though. I'm also in NC - what dealership?
I agree, it does seem very costly...but their systems are built for those that want a factory finish OEM plug and play solution that sounds good without having to do any tuning themselves. Not everyone wants to spend hours tuning their own systems, including me. I've done that many times in the...
