The reason why so many different types of vehicles exist is everyone has a different need or want and that is totally OK, choice is great. What works for one doesn’t work for another either functionally or emotionally. We are all different with different opinions and that is OK too.
My wife...
And you prove the point. Misinformed and spouting off shit you probably don’t know anything about. My family has owned several, for years, sold and traded and new. Everything you just said is either false or someones opinion.
Look you don’t like them that’s fine, easy don’t own one. But...
Yea the Tesla hate is strong and admittedly before I owned one I kinda shit on them to and I don’t really know why I did. After owning 3 of them they have just been awesome. From the buying experience (which screw dealers fyi they suck a$$) to the charging network to the mobile app which smokes...
That’s great for you! There are a lot of cool cars out there and I want to try them all.
It’s not everyone’s cup o tea as they say. I still have my Polaris Slingshot and my Harley. So plenty of suck bang blow to go around at my house outside of the Tesla.
New owners took delivery today and they love it. Going to a happy home.
This wasn’t meant to be a Tesla vs Supra thread, thats just what I did. Not say ing it’s better option or worse. I owned both for quite a while. The Tesla is fun in it’s own way to drive and so is the Supra. I’ve had both...
Oh yeah did I mention it drives itself? ?
I wouldn’t say it’s soulless. I have a blast driving it. I had mine in the mountains and backroads in GA and it was fast and fun. The regen makes cornering so smooth
I’mma car guy it’s just different that’s all. The instant tq is just awesome to play with. I smoked a 700hp C5 S/c’d Calloway Vette cuz he was spinning and I was hookin and bookin. He looked very disappointed to get beat by an SUv LOL
Hell we have a model Y long range as well as my performance...
I’m a car enthusiast and I love all kinds of cars, I’ve had well over 100 in my life and I’m not slowing down now dammit LOL. I do enjoy not having to go to a gas station all the time, not doing oil changes or plug changes or starter changes like I just did on the Supra. We drove our model 3...
It’s been an awesome car to own and it’s one of the ones I’ve kept the longest. Like many here we love cars and I love working on new projects. I will say I am going to miss this one though, it’s special. I was going to just keep it but someone made a full asking price offer and I couldn’t say...
it’s about the same weight i would bet that is the effect of the tire being much taller then stock. But it seems that is the one to go with and yea, that looks pretty sick!
Been looking at the tire threads, what is the consensus on which size to run is the best? The 285 is just .2” taller than the stock tire and the 305 is a hefty .8” taller which can affect the gearing but looks better. For the 305 camp did you notice a little loss in acceleration or did it not...
275/35 front and 305/30 rear. I’m about to order NT 555 RII’s I think i’m going with the 295/35/19 size. It’s a bit taller than stock but a little more sidewall to help the launch. We will see how it goes. Or 285/35/19 is closer to stock.
Stock 275/35 - 26.58”
285/35 - 26.8”
295/35 - 27.1”
It...
Yea it’s way better on a roll but without a tire even that is dicey right now. 3rd gear with T/C turned off and the car steps out sideways all the way through 3rd and doesn’t get it together until your well into 4th.
Decided before the weather get god awful here in Fl I’d try to get to the track with the new tune and see how things went. In the process learned a few things.
1. I bumped up to e40, I thought this will be ok I was e30 before whats a little more ethanol… Current tune did NOT like that at all...
