  1. PPF Help

Ironically, my bumper is perfect. They even used the STEK stealth satin PPF on the black trim.
  2. PPF Help

The hood is basically a king sized bed. ? ?
  3. PPF Help

Live and learn, I guess. Not many shops in the Dallas area were familiar with doing PPF on Supras back in mid 2020 though. At least it's only noticeable by me and you'd have to really look for it in the right light. On the bright side, it's kept everything protected since day one.
  4. PPF Help

This was my first experience getting PPF. I bought my Supra new back in August of 2020 when most shops hadn't had much experience with its dramatic curves yet. It came with the OEM PPF which was awful, but at least it was SOME protection while I waited a week for my PPF appointment. I deiced...
  5. Supra Ownership Longevity

Bought mine new 4 years and one month ago to this day. Only 14k miles as I work from home and travel quite a bit. No plans on selling as there's nothing under $100k (double what I paid!) that I'd replace it with. Rented a C8 for a weekend in the west coast, just out of curiosity and it...
  6. RECALL - Data Communication Module (DCM) Update

I'm holding off until the auto start/stop function can be disabled via Bimmercode before I do this service campaign. It appears this will be a mandatory feature in all upcoming ICE (non-hybrid) vehicles soon enough. My neighbor just bought a '24 Kia Soul which has this feature. Like, the...
  7. What kind of stuff did you guys buy to wash your car?

I've been using the 2 bucket wash with ONR and a microfiber mitt for the last 8 years. I really like it. Especially since I can wash my car in the garage which is awesome since it's either 105F or 35F here in Dallas.
  8. How to Improve OE Sub Bass Quality and Eliminate Vibrations

Yup, already threaded. I just put a small piece of plywood between the threaded holes and the carpeted trim then drilled through the fuzzy stuff. ;)
  9. How to Improve OE Sub Bass Quality and Eliminate Vibrations

I can confirm that these rings work and fit perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CGXSNC0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 Along with these bolts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08XWWXYFJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
  10. Supra Development Thread - OEM+ Designs

Ah, ok. I was referring to something like this but less prominent so it doesn't cover up the whole vent:
  11. Supra Development Thread - OEM+ Designs

They're not on the website though yet, right?
  12. Photo of the day... 😍

Plus our large hoods are perfect for that big Firebird decal. ?
  13. Supra Development Thread - OEM+ Designs

Love this! Especially since the only other option out there is carbon fiber from OLM, Reaped and Revell. Any plans on doing one for the front too?
  14. Lightweight battery alternative

Yup. That looks like the one. When I replaced mine, I don't remember them having any batteries for the Supra specifically, so I emailed them before purchasing their recommendation. If I remember correctly, I just removed both terminals (negative first) and pulled out the OEM battery then...
  15. What did you do to your Supra today?

Is your 4th brake light the clear or smoke version?
  16. What did you do to your Supra today?

And they're everywhere now. Came back from a road trip with some friends over the weekend through Sonoma, the Bay Area and LA. Vehicle counts on that trip: Cyber Truck = 98 C8 Vette = 52 Supra = 3 ?:rolleyes:
  17. What did you do to your Supra today?

Good to know. My black non-cf version is still perfect after 3 weeks in the Texas sun/heat. :dunno: When does it begin to warp?
  18. What did you do to your Supra today?

Hmmm. I'll keep an eye on it. Do you have a part number or link for the OEM GT4 one?
