Wow... I thought my 24 hour rabbit fiasco was nerve wracking... and all he did was shit all over the garage and a bit on my engine cover. Thank God he was a committed vegetarian, and didn't chew on anything at all that I can find!
Looks like they were working on making your engine bay their...
A few do... but mostly just freeways which are fixed with fed money not state money for the most part. Seems like every surface street is "under construction" but they never actually pave anything as far as I can tell.
They just put out the cones, then put them back a few days later. No...
Yep, same here... well our property taxes are actually ~$1400 lower - but that's only because we bought the house in 2011 (and there's a 3% per year increase cap). If we sold the house, the next owner would be paying around that ($4300).
Registration however is a bit worse than yours actually...
I'd only agree with the second part of that comment... unless you meant a used 911 (or new without any options and a 6 mo. lead time) - in which case, carry on. The prices on anything in stock these days is insane...
Around here even a lightly optioned 2013 S with over 25K miles goes for...
I don't know if it's the color or what, but I almost never have anyone revving on me with the MKV. When I had the RC-F, I had every Mustang GT in the valley wanting to race... which confused me because I always thought "We've got the exact same car - mine's just the Japanese version."
The only...
Maybe it should, but I would guess it will have about as much in common with the production Corolla as the FT-1 does with the Supra. I hope I'm wrong, but considering they didn't deem us worthy of getting the good Yaris at all... I think it's a fairly safe bet.
If there is one thing modern athletes, celebrities, and politicians have taught us... it's that living in a bubble full of yes-men and constant media attention does nothing positive as far as character quality is concerned. I guess I'd also say that anything involving armies of attorneys isn't...
Certainly the 2JZ is a significant portion of MKIV demand (a commanding majority even), but there will always be a moderate amount of demand simply for the chassis - in which case the "heart" is of far less concern.
I think specifically of the trend of resto-mods often commanding values...
... Not to mention it (as well as the R34 Skyline, Z32, FD RX7, NSX, etc.) have become iconic representations of "the golden age of Japanese sports cars" - at least when viewed from an American perspective.
I have no idea how many MKV posters might be hung on some 13yr old's bedroom...
I think it depends mostly on how many people decide to make love to a tree with theirs... seems like the salvage thread grows by at least two listings for every 5 sold... so by the end of production there may be even fewer on the road than there are today. ?
It's just too tempting to take all...
Nice. I thought I'd seen one or two that did, but when I did a search I couldn't find any. I would assume using that also retains adaptive cruise then.
Yup. You also lose e-brake with a rear caliper upgrade I believe for the same reasons. I could be wrong about that though, but I'm pretty sure most of the kits I looked at mentioned something to that effect.
Yeah, it seemed to be in regards to wheelspin... but you don't have to do full-send from a dead stop all the time? I'm guessing the Supra in question (if it even exists in reality) was tuned but on stock tires and suspension, driven by an inexperienced driver, etc.
Certainly even in stock form...
That's a great solution with limited effort and requirements. Easy enough to adjust as needed and no visual cockpit noise (knob). Not quite a set and forget solution but close enough.
