I did my "1200-mile break-in change" yesterday on race ramps in my garage.
Pretty easy, but the oil filter is a bit of an awkward reach - just put some shop towels under it as it'll drip when pulling out...
Used Liqui Moly Top Tec 6600 0W-20 since it's winter. Might change up to their...
I actually looked at the M2C before purchasing the Supra.
Now, I know how the Supra's styling is quite polarizing and almost garish compared to the M2C, but I also wanted a car that looks unique in it's design and makes you look back after you park it. ?
However, one of my most prominent...
Same here. I thought I was going to have to get a Pedalbox or Sprintbooster like I had on my last GTI and previously on the Golf R to help mitigate the initial lag, but was happily surprised that the Supra has no delay - especially for a turbocharged car.
Just think how pissed Jeremy Clarkson must be that Chris Harris stirred so much with one tweet. Lol.
I'm sure Toyota/Lexus COULD'VE built another car slotted between their RCF and the LFA to compete against the 911 Turbo, C8, 2021 M4 and 488, but a lot of us wouldn't be here as it would be...
"Ferrari TR, 911 Turbo, M3, Dodge Viper, Corvette, 300ZX, RX-7, 3000GT, Lotus, NSX etc."
The few of those cars that are still being made today have been priced significantly higher than the A90 Supra though, with the exception of the Z. But the new 400Z isn't out yet to be considered a...
The OEM Toyota sliding armrest/cupholder cover option was great in my BRZ. I'm not a big fan of exposed cupholders either. However, I do use them - one for a water bottle and the other for spare face mask #becausecovid.
Definitely apples and oranges...and bananas...and plums...and peaches... Lol.
A90 Supra vs c8? vs Camaro/Mustang? vs Boxster/Cayman? vs TT-RS?
The Supra is front engined, 6 cylinder, RWD. There's nothing in this group that compares. The others are mid-engine, V8 or AWD. The Supra was...
Congrats!
I followed your YouTube channel when I had my BRZ. I too did the E85 FlexFuel kit then the Edelbrock supercharger. And had a Suzuka Blue S2000 back in 2004. Lol. "Brutha from another mutha?"
Can't wait to see what you have planned for the A91!
True, and all of it makes sense. But I feel it's a bit biased when comparing the A90 to a 911 though.
I'm curious as to what would be a justifiable NEW sports car or "sports car" purchase under $60K would be.
I researched quite a bit when I had my BRZ. So yes, I am stepping up and not down...
Eh, even most factory vents, scoops and spoilers are fake. This has been a design trend since the 80's. Nothing new. When done correctly, it adds visual interest. Just like hood ornaments in the 50's, chrome everything in the 60's and pin-striping in the 70's. Lol. Not sure why all of a...
Yeah, JDM had a great presence in the 90's. I really miss it. The 3000GT-VR4, 300ZX TT, RX7, MR2, Supra and my favorite, the NSX.
Now the 3000GT is history. The new 400Z seems like it would cut juts slightly under the Supra from the specs we've seen so far. I'm sure Toyota will up the...
OMG! I only now just saw your list of cars under your avatar - you still own that A80!? Lucky dog! ? I still have the original brochure and poster from that launch.
I get the entry level BMW parts. But BMW in itself is already an entry-level luxury brand. Although, my 2016 GTI did feel...
