With the new full unlocks (I recommend Autotuner) you no longer need to tell them what tuning platform you plan to use. You can purchase and install MHD after you get it back.
Dinantronics thing is equivalent to a jb+. No wastegate control, no logging, no rpm/speed/gear-based anything. Your charge pipe pressure sensor just reads two or three PSI off all the time.

My gut feeling is that the type B seat belt might failover to a type A, in the case of loss of communication. It might be worth trying unplugging that connector, and seeing if it behaves like that

I've also found the factory seat belt to be slightly annoying on the track. What I've seen other folks do is Slide the seat all the way back, do a quick yank to trigger the centrifugal lock, then keep holding tension as you slide the seat...
