Ya, I think I'm just gonna grab another plain ass catless. All the videos and websites are being sneaky with these no CEL "catless." The stuff I could find does not look full catless, which is why I posted. I was just hoping for no CEL just because, but oh well, Ill save hundreds by getting a...
Anyone had or have the FI Exhaust downpipe with the simulator that prevents CEL?
Does it sound catless? - I haven't done enough research to see the inside of the tube (Can't tell if it's obstructed or what's in there)...but I am looking to have a catless downpipe to pair up with my AMS since...
I was an always manual guy, traded in without even thinking about the trans...drove off like ohhhh shit, what have I done. Now I'm an auto guy and defend it, lol. Auto > Manual. I drive my auto in manual mode and don't miss my manual. I only miss being able to rev whenever I want, but with how...
You need evidence? What's more 1 second or .001 seconds? If you can't figure it out I'll get a calculator and try some math cause I'm also dumb. Like, it's not possible that the manual is faster, it's just not. Can 1 out of 10000 humans shift quickly? Sure. Does that mean manual is faster? Not...
Counter question: Why bother chasing hp if you're going to slow yourself down by seconds? And IDK how that makes sense...so the whole purpose of a sports car is to ensure you have a stock to jack off...err a manual shifter and a pedal to foot fk? I thought sports cars were all about speed, power...
"Market" yet it's a dying and fading tech that will be gone soon ...I imagine. I don't want to say a number cause I'll probably be wrong because of the disgruntled "market"
Actually how is Europe these days on auto vs manual? Are they phasing manual out too?
But is that because auto or because supply? There are far more autos than manual, correct? Still true, but idk if it's cause better or cause less available.
I told my neighbor about this thread. He's a race instructor and driver. He agrees with me. That settles it auto > manual.
He said manual is more fun but auto is faster and better for racing.
In his defense, I did quote the pros on auto vs manual. Surprise, surprise, they all said suck it up auto is the future, faster and allows them to focus on time and driving (smarter not harder).
I also make the point that most pro races are auto...as in no stick shifter+ pedal...
Dude, that's my question. We hijacked a thread so I carried it over in case they wanted to finish on a dedicated thread. This thing blew up. Good times, though, unlike manual track times. Jkjk
Is the shaving for weight reduction? Why are you shaving the monkey?
But also, I thought that's what I was already saying. Auto = easy mode. MT = hard mode.
"You seem to be insinuating that in an automatic we can all be that good"
I mean, if you don't know how the push the pedal to 100% throttle you got issues.
I said 0-60 and 1/4 mile. Pushing the pedal to the metal in auto is pretty easy. I don't think you need them mad skillz to do that. Is...
I saw some Japanese YouTube where dude was .1 seconds behind the auto. But let's not pretend even a fraction of us are that good. Auto is our best bet at getting that claimed 0-60 | 1/4 mile times. And auto will be far more consistent too. Even the advertised numbers has the manual slightly...
Right, we are aging, and some of us are still acting like we're seven making car noises in a parked car.
Stop kidding myself? LOL, ok clown. I don't have "love" for either. Not all of us are trying to fuck our cars like you. Besides you can't get pregnant sticking the shifter up your ass, but...
