Sorry for the thread resurrection, but doesn't map 0 mean no tune? How did you get 422whp with no additional boost? Or did the BEF get you there and the JB4 Map-4 got you up to 450?
Not only that, but the dealership can choose whether or not they sell the car, no matter what the price is. All you're doing is eliminating their bullshit price claims from entering the equation. You're not tricking them into selling the car for a price they don't agree to. I saw a car with...
Not going to argue, but wow that's some silly thinking and possibly the worst interpretation of law I've ever seen. Who are you defrauding if you quote a price and the ***seller*** decides to go ahead and ***voluntarily*** sell you a vehicle at a particular price? How have I induced someone...
Never go to a dealership before having a price agreed to on paper out the door. Get one dealership to offer a price, change their email to whatever you want to go for, and send the offer to other dealerships to see if they can match or beat it. They won't lower their price unless they know...
I was getting fueling issues on e40 and BMS wasn't able to resolve it aside from dialing everything back a bit. I don't see how adding more boost or cfm will net any real results without being able to add more fuel...?
I've coded my car to screen mirror while moving, and it's kinda pointless. The screen mirroring size is no larger on the infotainment screen than on most phones, but you also still need to use the phone to do things like report things in Waze.
I've had the same thing since going Catless. Mine looks and smells like oil burning, but after 2000 miles since I first saw the smoke...oil level is still at max. At this point it's more embarrassing than concerning.
Also a group just for VA owners, mostly based between Fredericksburg and Hampton Roads. "VA-Supras". Facebook sucks though, and it's ruining forums and knowledge bases. Don't use Facebook for anything but organizing car meets.
Secondary o2 is emissions only. Other than the CEL it shouldn't make a difference, and I believe our ECUs are adaptive enough to handle any A:F ratio changes caused by the catless downpipe.
I haven't installed that part of it yet, but I plan to just cut the wire, splice on another 4-5ft, and splice the pin back on. Unless you cut off the harness shroud and replace it afterwards, I don't see how else you do it. That being said, the fuel it app works fine in the meantime.
I'm not 100% sure, but the center console stock pattern doesn't quite look like the real thing. Looks like its hydro dipped, but I could very well be wrong. The parts I added are absolutely carbon though. The color match isn't 100%, despite the same twill, but you have to look closely. I guess...
You'll only get so much ouy of Terry. It's amazing he has time to help at all, but basically all he did was get my JB4 to run smoothly by effectively running stock boost levels. You'll need someone to analyze the logs and help you set it up for your car if you want to get the most out of it.
