Okay, then. I thought the aftermarket would end up having to rebuild every last part of the car.
Turbo and AT-turbo. One's for the AT, and the other's for the... did not see that coming.
But oh, yes, please.
I spend a lot of time on the GM Performance website, and according to them, the T-56 Magnum can hold some 700-single-digit torque, and it's like $5k.
(Looking at you Tada, surely you can make a tranny that handles 3/4 that for cheaper)
Did you use an LS or a BB crate? V8-swapped Sciobarus are nice.
The pedals are nice and close together, which makes for better brake to gas transition and easier heel-and-t-
Oh wait.
What if that space is designed to hold a clutch pedal later on? I know that's the Bimmer, but it and the Toyota share a ton of design features, so maybe...
GRMN, you mean...
Honestly, I think they should call it the TRD or TRD Sport edition, in keeping with US sports-tier tradition. Let the GRMN stay in Europe.
Sniped. Meant for @2above.
Love the A70, but I think the design language was a bit overused in that JDM era. Sharpened-up-looking Porsche 944 in everything from the RX-7 FC3S to the Mitsu Starion to the Supra MkIII.
Where did this thread end up..?
Okay. Time to make a spiel and repost it in every thread where people argue about the MT.
*deep breath*
Stop being butthurt about the manual transmission. I know you people like stickshift; even I appreciate the existence of a clutch in my 350whp BRZ. But manuals...
Wow.
Identical.
Or maybe 'cause they're both in the same segment. I would drop an estimate for the weight at 3300 lbs. for the turbo with this info. The Supra has a bigger engine, and is more focused on refinement, which adds a couple hundred pounds.
Okayyy. I stand corrected.
The GT86, if I'm not mistaken, had an auto for extra price? Not sure why Tada would say "you need 'exotic' materials to make a decent manual". I would suggest Toyota offer two manual options.
One will stay stock, tampering with it will mess it up, and too much torque...
