    Check to make sure the factory shipping spacers aren’t still installed. You can check by just jacking the car up and then lifting the rubber boot.

    If you shift the plate up as far as it will go in the tow hook mount, it doesn’t really block the vents, it just sits in front of the section that’s already blocked anyway. I’ll see if I can dig up a picture from my car.

    I’ve had two alignments done by an independent BMW/VW performance shop with no issues. It was about $140 each time.

    Bimmercode no, but you will lose nav stuff (presets, EQ settings, etc.) Battery is in the trunk under the floor mat. DO NOT CLOSE THE TRUNK AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY! It's an electronic release, without the battery connected you won't be able to open it back up.
