I ended up repositioning my contacts: I had to purchase a new metal flanged bolt and washer (oem ones are fixed as one piece - can’t separate washer from bolt). This way I could place the eye hook for the ground wire between the flange bolt and washer for an excellent ground on the battery...

~ Thanks. Good point. Yeah this particular plastic cover is semi loose and allows airflow. I stored my prior cars the same way without issue. I believe the climate, air moisture content, humidity, storage location, etc could indeed be a factor for some.

~ Yeah I’m 53 and love my Supra. The only issue with some older parties (undefined) is the ability to enter and exit the car.

Front wheel drive… bring on the Ohio snow. The GTI motors quite well with the Conti DWS tires. My designated snow car (parked for the spring, summer and fall).

I’m storing my Supra for the winter and have opted for the CTEK 5.0 with an optional extended cable for ease of hook up. Thoughts, what are you using and/or preference?

Thank you ~ I added a disposable plastic cover with semi elastic at the bottom today as well (keeps any dust particles out). Many use these temp covers at car show when a brief shower passes over. Less than $15
