I've learned that cars get beat up no matter how well we try to take care of them. Maybe try to get the bumper realigned but id prolly drive it for a few years and worry about it later if you plan to keep the car long term. Just my 2 cents.
Yeah I made a direct complaint with the general manager after my experience.. between the headunit bricking and the shipping spacers left in my car. Just sucks, don't like complaining but this is idiotic.
They informed me of the head unit failing. Apparently the car went through the update process and froze at 38% or something. The car is drive-able but I have a blue screen on the touch screen. The worst part is I brought my car in for oil change, and a check engine light fix for a minor evap...
My entire head unit fried over this update. The touch screen is stuck blue. No radio, Navi, or any function can be accessed now. Even my hvac doesn't work properly. I can crank my heating and it's barely circulating through the car. What a joke.
File police report asap and hope you took any relevant pictures with her car included. Contact her insurance. Sorry to see this happen to another supra owner. People literally arent paying attention on the roads or parking lots. Pardon my language but fuck her promises.
Quick question OP.. the QuickJack BL-7000SLX is on sale for cheaper here in Canada at Costco. The QuickJack website lists it as same overall length but I can't find total ground clearance. Should be good 2 go?
Thanks for some of this info, my car goes in for an alignment next week. The Toyota Dealership completed the alignment for you? I have H&R springs I was going to put in the car and unsure if I should have the dealership align it or another shop.
Getting my oil changed at 3000 km , 9 month ownership.. They didn't have the Toyota branded Synthetic oil + filter marked for the Supra. They had to order BMW B58 equivalent and got the green light from Toyota Canada so that It will follow warranty etc. Just a heads up for others LOL
Got my first oil change at 3k Km on the odometer at my local toyota today, they didn't have the Toyota branded oil even though I booked 2 weeks in advance. I felt like calling 2 days before hand but I figured they would be prepared. Oh well, they ended up needing to keep the car for about 3...
I was one of the first in Canada to jump into my supra and I had no regrets. I fully wished for improvements to bring new happy customers to this platform. But my particular model is squirrely and bipolar on exiting turns and if I give it any extra gas with some spirit in it. This is city...
Yep, mine is cleaned, prepped and stored till late March/April. Chilling on a CTEK Battery Maintainer for the duration. We get rough lake effect snow between the Great Lakes here in Southern Ontario.
