yes you can connect at the ecu. that is why i connected at the ecu. ive had ethanol sensors on these cars longer than anyone. just put the ZT box in the compartment where the master cylinder is. no issues. theres literally no reason to tear apart the inside of the car.
do NOT solder wires...
nice, very reliable 2.5L in those. i used to tune those a lot and boost them. If you're a modder of the SVT, you may be familiar with one of my buddies. Owner of Nautilus Performance.
One thing you guys need to know about the JB4 and why you shouldnt push the car too hard on JB4 without a flash backing it. Is because without a flash, the ECU runs stock timing and fueling targets.
JB4 cannot adjust fuel and timing targets.
Stock fuel and timing is fine for stock boost...
my unlock does not support Ecutek, every other platform yes, just not Ecutek. Ecutek software doesn't recognize manual unlock. You need to send to someone with BFlash to unlock for Ecutek
You're in Texas..... hit up my buddy Steven Kan at PRT performance for the Ecutek unlock. He is in FOrrt...
i mean, sure i can get the harnesses. i never priced them though, im a dealer for ZT. just never looked at price of harness. but i just looked they are $65 total for both.
yea, jb4 doesn't do real flex fuel. its basically a boost controller. but if you wanted a sensor just make sure your mis is right thats fine. but you need to be careful running ethanol with no tune.
yes sorry, i havent been active in a couple weeks. but im trying to come back on combat any misinformation posted and help people out more. just been busy. Marin is cool, so you should be fine. dont hesitate to reach out if you need anything
depending on where you get the service done, some offer an OTS on the ecu if one doesnt want to pay for the full unlock and clone. but OTS maps are not good, because depending on who you get it from, you will be plagued with limp modes. and would have to send ecu back to russia for any further...
you can use any flash platform and achieve the same results. very large misconception about that. you can run big turbo, port injection, and whatever you want on any of the flash platforms as well. how a tune performs on any platform, solely depends on the capabilities of the tuner tuning...
