yea they moved to the fitting style like i use in my kits for a couple years now. The orings are inside the actual fitting. the fitting they using before would leak and etc. ironic
No offense taken.
the main reason for the mounts being so soft from OEM is simply driver and passenger comfort. the drivetrain moving less under high torque loads is FAR less damaging than the Drivetrain torquing (moving) heavily then snapping back in place. These mounts are for increased...
no its not bad for the car. these are meant to reduce movement in the drivtrain package that would result in weird torquing angles under heavy acceleration. Which can break other things.
Thank you for the review. Much appreciated.
Yea the NVH increase whether it be tolerable or not depends in the person. Like I said for me above. After a week or two. I got used to any new sounds and didn't much notice.
And I drive my car a lot.
Very good and unbiased review
They are being worked on. Had to make some prototype changes from the last version.
Yea some people are NVH sensitive. For me i dont much notice it after a week or two. Its just a big change from stock, so seems like its more dramatic than it is.
i have some options on the table that will...
OP,
Everything you need to run the Intake manifold should come with the intake manifold. Less the injectors if you did not order them for port injection.
If you have to source coolant lines and etc to run that manifold. i would send it back, or make them send you what you need.
Whats...
Feel free to reach out if you need any tune support. I dont personally know anyone in western canada persay, but as stated we can do everything remotely as normal.
before messing with the VANOS, be sure you are replacing the right part.
The VANOS Actuators are the black electronic parts on the valve cover, and i have yet to see any actually fail on these cars. But its possible. The actuator takes 5 minutes to change.
The VANOS central valve is the...
ohhh, you're talking about auto H. sorry about that. No these cars dont have it, but they have the hill assist. any slight incline activates it.
IIRC, auto H is codable, but i can remember how to off the top of my head.
actually B58s do not use a diverter valve at all for boost pressure bypass. There is no BOV, BPV, or DV on these cars.
B58 uses exhaust bypass, valvetronic adjustments and throttle to bypass pressure efficiently. BOVs can be used, but they are highly unneeded for stock turbo cars because the...
To answer your question, right this moment the ECU itself will still need to be shipped to FEMTO for the bench flash service (unlock) which enables flashing the ECU via OBD2. The FEMTO OBD flasher would then be able to flash the ecu via OBD2 port as normal.
Until FEMTO either releases there...
