no its not bad for the car. these are meant to reduce movement in the drivtrain package that would result in weird torquing angles under heavy acceleration. Which can break other things.

ohhh, you're talking about auto H. sorry about that. No these cars dont have it, but they have the hill assist. any slight incline activates it. IIRC, auto H is codable, but i can remember how to off the top of my head.
