@zrk is correct on the stock MKV supra exhaust.
stock exhaust is good. Its actually a common thing with BMWs. they are usually fairly high flowing and generally under 600-700whp changing them is only for sound for the most part.
Commonly see 600+whp on older BMW models (N54, N55, S55)...
The availability of Pre- 6/2020 ECU's will definitely become an issue at some point. Because if you can't get a used one. eventually BMW/Toyota will put a stop to the sale of the ECUs without a tech diagnosis requiring a new ECU. They investigate stuff like this. Cloning should not be...
shouldn't matter how long the car sits. Shouldn't have a long crank unless the HPFP is failing, car has some ignition hardware issues, or the tune needs work. my car starts up immediately everytime. And im in NY on E90.
Our downpipe was another great option. we had probably the highest flowing downpipe on the market, but cant compete with china prices, lol. so we havent made any in a bit.
ok, Ecutek requires a Clone, MHD does not.
NOTES - without clone, using the FEMTO unlock, custom features like Flex fuel, Mapswitching, Antilag, and etc will currently not be available. Those features currently require a clone on ALL flashing platforms.
Without the clone, you are still...
the FEMTO unlock is definitely legit. id go through Levan at BIMECU for the unlock and clone.

which platform are you interested in Flashing with? MHD, Ecutek, BM3, or MGflasher?
You'll be waiting for a while if not indefinitely then.
I reached out to @femtoevo some time ago about being their stateside base for unlocking. But they declined and I completely understand why and don't blame them for wanting to safeguard their tech.
Maybe that will change. But chances...
Have run the stock plugs and gap beyond 850whp. No issues.
If someone is telling you to close gaps on plugs on this platform without an actual reason. It's simply because they read some old n54/n55 recommendations and are regurgitating that without any real knowledge of the B58 ignition system
They are not one step colder for Supra or Gen2 B58. They are the same heat range as the stock Champions that came in your Supra.
They are only one step colder for Gen1 B58
stock plugs stock gap. if you ever need replacements hit my site. Stock are the Champions. But if you prefer ngk... the "b58 one step colder" on my site will work.

Full custom tuning is available from MHD, BM3, and MG flasher for anyone with a FEMTO unlock. This has always been the case.
Yes companies offer OTS maps. OTS maps is a generalized custom tune so to speak.
I'm not sure why a custom tune isn't a custom tune without map switching or flex...
the vanos code is more than likely one of two things. The vanos solenoid or the vanos central. the valve takes a good amount of work and special tools to change. the solenoid take 2 minutes to replace.
Does it only happen after a gold start
