do not get fuel it if you plan on supporting true flex fuel at any point down the road. you need CANBUS support for all flashing platforms. Fuel it aint it.
our stealth kit flex fuel kit, MHDs b58 kit that they just released, and viscontis kit are the only acceptable option currently.
rods and pistons, with upgraded and coated bearings, ARP rods, mains and heads. Didn't see the need for anything more. If by chance i do find other limits. i'll use my stock engine that im removing to rebuild stronger/better than whats currently going in.
no, but i have a setup in mind...
not without nitrous. Pure 800 is essentially a 700-725whp turbo. And you have to push it hard to make that all boost. On a high reading dyno, maybe, but it wont perform like a true reading dynod car at that level.
answered in your other post, no, not really.
supporting mods depends on what your power goals are realistically. But bare minimum just a custom tune that keeps everything within the limits of the stock HPFP. if you dont have anything but the P800.
Best bet as mentioned, is flashing the car back to stock. You don't know what tune is on the car. So you can start fresh. Then diagnose if there are still issues that remain.
port injection adds six injectors to help supplement fuel that the DI system cant supplywhen needed.
basically a boost controller with some extra features that can lower boost based on knock learning and some afr safeties.
^^^^THIS
depends how long you want to wait.
Yes, as i've said numerous times. Ecutek is ahead because of Racerom. As i have always stated clearly, outside the racerom environment every flash platform uses the same tables to create tunes. I agreed that Racerom wins currently. However for an owner not interested in say, map switching...
you only need a LPFP upgrade if you want to run beyond 700-750whp on E85. Yes, you can get a tune for straight e85. But you will not make more power than E40-E50 on the stock HPFP because it cant support it. But if you wanted one and was ok with a lower power E85 map, then it is indeed...
you simply get a tune for e85 and one for 93oct or whatever fuel is most common where you are. and reflash when needed. MHD takes 7-10 seconds to flash. once Flex fuel is released, the care will auto adjust without a reflash with an CANBUS enabled flex fuel kit like mine and viscontis...
i have screenshots from some tuners blatantly lying to owners about some things. this is why i always feel what i said needs to be said. its unfortunate
EDIT: not screenshots from tuners, but screenshots from owners that have talked to tuners and they were told some outlandish stuff.
What i have always told customers because i like to give them all the details and allow them to make the decision.
Choose the flashing platform based on what extra features if any (outside the custom tune) that you want or don't want. Things like Flex fuel, map switching, antilag, and etc...
this is a known bug specific to FEMTO unlock support. Right now its blanket "recognizing" ECUs as having the FEMTO unlock. Fix will pushed in a coming update. so for now if you know you didnt get the FEMTO unlock done, carry on as such.
