I had this fixed somehow. Rear passenger side actuator not disengaging all the way. After a while of manually messing with it I was able to get it to work.
If I hadn't built my current supra to hell and back I'd want to get this color.
Edit But it seems this is only exclusive to the manual version... I take that back. I wouldn't get this car.
Damn... is there an alternative method for non track peasant such as myself. I'm guessing I could use meth for strictly cooling, but I don't know anything about the stuff or if it is even safe.
At the same time I did pulls for 20 miles straight without any issues. When doing normal spirited...
I am... really close to installing some sort of ice box even though my car is not ever going to see a day on the track. I did a series of pulls the other day and my Turbo decided it was time to take a break. But it was a dumb ass amount of pulls, so I think I'm good for now. I will most likely...
So I got paranoid and checked. The hose is not actually touching the turbo. Also under load the engine causes the turbo to tilt away from the hose. There are no signs of rubbing so far.
Well you'll know what happened if I have a long hiatus from the forum.
It's well protected. If something does happen to the hose it's a non issue. I've been keeping an eye on it.
I was more concerned about the plastic terminal bracket thingy melting... which some of it did. I had to cut off the melted plastic and get it protected with heat wrap. Also my engine...
I bought some spacers and brand new hardware for the strut brace modification. Getting grade 5 titanium from China... I ordered it by mistake not knowing until I saw where it was being shipped from. Wish me luck. I should have this modified in a week or 2 Hopefully this works.
I'm also going...
Don't listen to these guys. There's nothing wrong with popping it into neutral and giving it a few revs to let others hear the song of your people.
Afterwards you can get a transmission rebuild from Jacks or Pure.
For suspension I may just do Rear control arms and leave it at that. the Front LCAs... are starting to be a little noisy on hard turns, but I knew this would happen.
I may just change back to my stock steering wheel.
I guess my top priorities for next year are:
Built Engine
Torque Converter...
Update:
Still trying to locate a shop to mount the new tires:
Front: Nitto NT555 G2 - 265/35 20
Rear: Nitto NT555RII - 305/30 20
Turbo Guard shipped out today. I purchased a T-Bolt clamp to replace the worm clamp that comes with it. I know it's not necessary.... but I hate the look of worm...
I'm not even FBO. I just got some light mods with a modest tune.
Concerning manifoldsRight now the most proven manifold on the drag strip = EOS. People are changing their already upgraded manifolds with this manifold.
