We already have brake ducting from OEM. Speed Engineering sells a printed kit that uses hoses from those ducts to a nozzle mounted on the knuckle. You can also just buy some cheap deflectors from Porsche gt3s and mount them on the caster arm.
Rear ducts are accomplished in a similar way...
While I see your point, using the hammers would be testing a different load on the adapter. With the hammers it would be shock rather than compressive force. So yeah the Legos would probably crack/explode and maybe even the block but the real use case is setting the car down on these. So less of...
No problem man! Lmk if you have any questions when it comes time. I was also looking at the Feal 441 prior to the FA but considering there being a lot more track people on FAs I figured they would be a safe bet. Merry Xmas! ?
I would ditch the stock springs. If you want to run a wheel/tire setup like that and retain the stock electronic damper control then run the HKS or MSS spring setup.
For tires, what climate do you live in? Is this daily driven? Ps4s are ~ok~ but not worth the price. They're kinda ass on track...
Btw I just wanted to give everyone an update, as my car is moving more toward a track car and gathering more aero I'll be upping my spring rate. 2 things I'm hoping to fix:
1. When driving on v730s I kept running into inner shoulder wear at the front. Alignment was checked, I have all...
Interesting, what fusebox are you using? The one in the passenger side footwell? Are you tapping the PTCAN bus with positaps in the passenger footwell? Feel free to shoot me a DM and maybe I can help ya ??
Ideally within 6 months, the code and base functionality is there I'm just working on BLE connectivity, case design, and sourcing parts. I most likely will do small batch runs as I'm only one guy ?
I'm actually working on gauges that tap directly to the PTcanbus so response is seamless compared to OBD2. Also shiftlights. I have most of the CAN IDs, and equations to pull raw values so a boost gauge should be quite easy.
Most likely yes, if you have some pics and whatnot I can take a look at it. I don't have access to a manual supra unfortunately so if someone can provide a scan that would be very helpful.
Figured I'd share some other 3d printed forays:
Front Spats
-these interact with the stock lip + the Aeroluxe GT4 lip
Rear spats (Aimgain style)
-These were the first thing I printed for my car. I haven't uploaded the files to Cults but I suppose I could do that if there is enough interest...
I have a whole host of 3d printed parts for the A90, some I haven't really posted about but for now, here is my fender vent:

It's survived a whole season of...
Gotcha! Yeah I've found with my current setup the car will turn in quite well off throttle. Mid speed maybe a bit less but I'll keep it in mind! Did you have to fully drop the subframe or was lowering it enough? I'll be doing subframe and diff bushings this winter so I'll already be in there!
Thank you! Glad it could help!
Yeah just to be clear, Ohlins are fantastic! But having to get custom tophats for them can be a bit confusing. And I've heard many things about how Vorshlag is less than easy to work with.
I haven't tried them yet but kinda hoping they last longer than v730s, I...
