Oh I tool them off after like 2 events cause they could not take the heat after like 2 hotlaps lol. I've been running Hawk DTC60s for the front and 30s for the rear. AFAIK I still have them if either of you are interested. They're prob like 95% life
From what I've been able to see, the only carbon hoods that provide any sort of weight savings are:
-Spage: 18.8 lbs
-Revolution: 13.5lbs (apparently their hood never made it to production)
- HGK Carbon Kevlar (OEM style): 17.5lbs
- Jase Composites: 16lbs
there may be others but i haven't been...
Figured I'd post a short update now that I ran an AutoX with these coils.
Overall, fantastic. I started with 12 clicks from soft F/R and then tried 18F/12R (mainly since I couldn't access it at the time). And the front end felt even better, super tight and responsive. I'll definitely be trying...
Thanks for the mention man!
I would be up for trying, although as far as I know, there isn't a manual A90 in my area. If anyone is in the Pittsburgh area and willing to let me scan and/or disassemble the shifter surround area on their manual A90, lmk. I can give it a shot!
I would really caution you before getting a harness bar. There are only 2 on the market right now, Cusco and USR. The Cusco bar imo (and many others) probably isn't your safest bet. It mounts to VERY thin sheet metal in 2 spots. The USR bar had a similar mounting method but has w extra points...
So you can code the EDC module out using Protool. I'd share the coding list but some of is are looking into an issue. I used it to code mine out and had an error come up concerning the auto height adjustment for the headlights. Albeit my headlights work just fine, are pointed correctly, and...
The adjustment in the rear is toward the top unfortunately. I have to lift the car up in order to reach it. ymmv with different wheel/tire setups or if you remove the dust shields you *might* be able to reach it. Also depends on if you have baby hands ?
Thanks man! Main reason for not considering HKS's line of coilovers was due to lack of data. I haven't really heard of many people running their coilovers, let alone on the track.
So the reason for Swift springs (or Hyperco for that matter) is that they are generally much lighter, more...
I only ran them for a short period of time since I coded out my EDC completely. However the fronts are still mounted the shock body and the rears are tucked up behind the fender liner.
No real problems other than the connectors don't have a super positive "click" to tell if they're fully...
Thanks! Yes that is the plan, I will be picking up a Verus UCW wing soon and I have a GT4 lip that I will be modifying to have a flat bottom and actually perform as a splitter with tunnels and such.
Hi everyone, now that I have had my Fortune Auto 510 coilovers installed and have a few events on them I felt that it was time to write a review.
First, a bit of background. My car is on stock power with zero aero. It is 60% track car 40% street and I primarily drive at Pitt race along with...
Hey everyone!
Now that I've tested my fender vents over 2 track days and a fair few street miles I finally feel like they are done!
These vents are printed solid in PETG and require ZERO measuring due to the use of printed alignment and cutting template tools. They can also be mounted via 3M...
I have a set sitting around. They did split apart but I made sure to mark them with paint prior so when I reinstalled my HKS springs they were clocked appropriately. Could never really hear any noise after ~10k miles and several hard track days!
I'm located at 15218
Hi everyone!
I recently installed FA510 coilovers along with these signal cancelers. They've been on the car for <20 miles. I only installed them so that I could make it to my alignment appointment on time and afterword coded out my EDC module. Hence why I do not need them anymore.
Asking...
