I can vouch for Fortune Auto 510s they have been a fantastic street/track coilover. The valving allows for spring rate increases within a reasonable margin so if you decide to move more toward track you can always up your rates (or just get them revalved).
I'd you primarily intend on keeping...
Just to confirm, these are the OEM pads correct?
When I put my most recent set of DTC60s on with new rotors I bed them in pretty well (or so I thought) and could hear then clunk from time to time if I was starting from a stop or at really low speeds applying a bit of pressure. But that went...
I can add to what the others have said. I got to run a set of TAPs after they were used by a similarly setup supra after one day.
They were absolute garbage when it came to getting any grip out of a corner. Again this was AFTER 1 TRACK DAY but still it was wild how little grip there was. That...
While it sounds stupid, it's not really all that wild. I use 3d printed jackstand adapters printed completely solid with PETG. Been using the same set for >2 years and frequently check on them and see zero stress or other signs of failure ?‍♂️
EDIT: I should note, this is not my design. And...
Agreed with @razorlab some long ball ended allens help a ton. Personally I have to loosen the strut top nuts to lower the shock to reach the camber plate bolts. However i have then maxed out so if you aren't at the extreme you may not need to do so.
Some 3/8" long ball ended Allen's are cheap...
Agreed with above, the shop should be able to correct that. Are you obscenely low or something like that?
Otherwise, I would suggest Verkline arms over SPL. You might have to wait longer and pay a bit more but you'll save so much time and money by not having to replace bearings all the time.
OP has a point about the sub grilles. However I look at it more from a usability standpoint rather than looks. I think if the grilles were flush it would make that hump behind the seats much more usable. Now if you have a box or something on there it teeters back and forth in the domed grilles.
That's awesome dude! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
It might not be a bad idea to get them just to make sure you don't preload the bar and such. I had an eibach bar on my car when I installed the coils so ymmv. I picked up the whiteline endlinks and they seem to be doing fine so...
Nice! I did however it was out of the budget. I figured once I felt I needed it I could always have them upgraded to the 520!
Not sure about the mounting however.
No problem! I'm glad it can help someone! I would caution against going to ohlins + Vorshlag route. Although I have not run them myself I have heard MANY negative experiences with Vorshlag. Im sure the Ohlins themselves are fantastic but dealing with the camberplates and their customer service...
