My apologies! No ill will here, I didn't realize the car had an impact. When I asked the owner what happened I was told "its making 600+ torque lol" so thats all I had to go off of when making the post here.
For conversation for context:
Sorry for any confusion!
Sometimes I'll get this error upon startup after I have disconnected/reconnected the battery and it goes away in a minute or so. I've also heard some people have had it go away after a couple drive cycles. So maybe give it a day or two before going down a rabbit hole.
EDIT: It appears there is more to the story and the mounts were broken not from the engine mounts but due to a collision.
Hey everyone! I saw an IG story of a Supra engine mount bracket that cracked along the mounting point to the engine mount (perpendicular to the bolt that connects the two)...
They have a whole list of stuff they've re-done and such on the car's listing page! But oh man I'd imagine it's had a couple engines in its lifetime ?. You can find it here: https://www.omoren.com/ at the Noda Head office.
Oh wow, I hadn't even looked at prices for intake manifolds for such a long time cause they're all so God damn expensive, I'm glad you mentioned Wagner dropped their prices. $1800 is a hell of a lot better, kinda hard to compete with that cost.
Ahhhh that's smart, I hadn't even considered just using one if their diffusers for the mustang chassis. I also haven't even considered an EV underbody panel lol
It's funny you brought up the single exit causing parachuting. I've been trying to figure out how I want to remedy that. I could just buy a verus diffuser and call it a day but I dont want to spend $~700 when I have a bunch of alumalite and a cutoff wheel staring at me in the garage. There's...
I'll also plug Mario (Occams Racers). He does some awesome write-ups and really answers a lot of questions. His writing style is hilarious too.
I spoke with him a little while back about possibly testing a couple things on our chassis. Maybe as a group we could get some things tested.
I'm hoping to hit LRP next season, stayed there for the Gridlife Circuit Legends event and realized I definitely need to come back. It's a hike for me in Pittsburgh but worth it.
EDIT: NOW $300
Hello everyone,
I'm listing my front lip mold and plug I made from scratch to produce a fiberglass "aimgain style" front lip. I have a post here that includes some more pictures and a but of explanation...
Got my Triple Seven GT4 hood vent in...now just mentally preparing myself to start cutting holes ?
Also got a Speed Engineering intake snorkel along with 2 free brake duct funnels since once started to deform a bit. Just sent them an email and they offered to replace it no questions asked ?
Haha honestly I kinda want to try one at a time now cause it seems like most people throw the whole catalogue on at once. It'd be kinda cool to do a write up after each
Sorry to bring back an old thread but any thoughts on rear traction links vs rear toe links? I'm not sure if I should do both or if just one or the other would net a noticeable benefit.
For those of you who didn't throw all the SPL/Vorshlag goodies on all at once, which arms did you see the biggest improvement overall?
I have a set of coilovers on order and already have a front swaybar on the car. From what I've read it seems like rear toe links and rear traction links seem to...
