SPL rear traction arms

Is it possible that you buy one at a time and try it? One of my regrets was buying the entire SPL part catalog and doing most if it all at once. Much harder to diagnose and describe what you feel is different. In my case at least

Any recommendations? I'm thinking about fitting Eibach springs (-20mm all round) and wonder if this is worth doing at the same time since I'll be getting an alignment. Do these allow a better toe setting to help get the power down?

The toe links have eccentric lockouts, so it'll result in a more consistent toe and no chance of it moving out of spec.

Have sold plenty of them with coilover setups. Never had issues!

A good local alignment shop should be able to get you in spec for what you're going for.

my question is how much do you adjust to get more grip?

Unless you know what you're doing, you shouldn't adjust traction arms from the factory length. the rear suspension is a multi link where the top and bottom pairs form a pseudo-wishlink. if the top and bottom arent adjusted together, it will cause the knuckle to tilt and move in a weird arc. or, cause the bushings to bind up as the hub moves up or down.

Bearings are trash and some of the design is a bit suss. I have gone through 3 toe arms already. The "pinch" design keeps breaking.

I went through so many bearings in the front arms I got sick of it and moved to Verkline.
