Verkline rear traction arm installation issue

Attempting to install the rear traction arms, but the collar side that connects to the hub doesn't fit over the factory pillow ball.

You can see the factory pillow ball is 45mm, but the Verkline collar is 44mm.

What I did was use two crescent wrenches to pry the collar open. Took a lot of effort but I was able to pry it just enough to fit over the pillow ball.

Hopefully this is helpful for anyone experiencing this issue.

Just installed one, had to do the same thing. I stood the the arm up on the heim joint and stuck a 3/8 extension in each fork hole and pressed down a little. Was just enough to slide it on.

I measured the inner width of both links, each one was 44.18mm

Interesting this happened to you as well. Wonder if it's the norm or you and I just got an odd batch?

Horrible manufacturing! I would have sent it back. that company needs to know what they're lacking.
