They also have patents with both a rotary and V engine entirely behind the front axle so who knows.

What is Mazda working on here? This is LFA level of chassis depending on what materials are used.
There’s really no way of an inline 6 fitting here, but they do have a patent for a drivetrain layout with a rotary or V engine attached to a hybrid motor at the flywheel and a transaxle or electric...
There is also an ICE motor in the patents which is rather interesting for RX-9 rumors. Look how low that is mounted, that would be great for COG and weight distribution combined with a transaxle.
I don't know how I missed this. I would definitely say the rumors of the car being an AMG GT competitor are coming to fruition. This is very similar to the AMG GT, with a space frame chassis and the entire motor behind the front subframe. Also this pretty much confirms an inline 6 will not be in...
Can anyone read Japanese? The new issue of Best Car Magazine supposedly has new GRMN information.
Based off the cover, it appears as if the car has a widebody which I did not think was possible considering a wider track breaks the "golden ratio" that Tada focused on during development...
They most definitely aren’t threatened by Toyota right now. The further up in performance they go, the more a FR inline 6 hurts the Supra since a mid mounted flat 6 has a higher ceiling.
Even if Toyota just plans on competing in sales and not track times, they still need a road going GT4 model...

This is why I question if the Supra can keep up with the Cayman. If Porsche links the Supra is a legitimate threat, they can/will update the next year and...
I would take a bmw I6 over a V6 any day, look at what I drive. It’s more about if Toyota will do what it takes to meet their performance goals even if it goes against heritage.
Let’s say Toyota wants a 500hp A90 and BMW won’t let them modify a B58 or use the S58. Does Toyota say “oh we are...
