I'm not sure if 5 years qualifies as "many many many years," but the 2JZ was already at 850whp (~1000chp, same as the Papadakis B58) stock bottom end on about 3-4 cars by late 1998. And that was the 90's, where everything moved far slower in every way and the technology was nowhere what it is...
now available with AWD, only with 2.5L 4 cylinder for now... Because they want to push people into the AWD ES.

Yeah, the ZF8 is only getting better too. We actually have an eval unit for a new one in the facility im at atm, but who knows what it will end up in :D
^ no, that's a racecar.
the general rule of thumb was one special edition per MY, but not sure if that's been changed. Either way, they've got three in the works right now.
At least it's better than the A80 15 Anniversary Edition lol (aka a plaque on the fenders and interior).
I think to some buyers the LEs will be worth more, but that generally they are the most rewarding for the original purchaser who can show they have had the car since day one.
But there...
GRMN was discussed as having DCT even when I was there, but the issue is on road reliability. You can bump the cost of the car (tentatively set at $85-90k atm) to pick up some of the possible costs for servicing/warranty work, but there's still a possibility that it will end up coming with an...
The ZF can def be taken down. I think one of the tuners on here had theirs set quite a bit lower for a while without issue, was just a rough engagement.
As always, the DCT is more the track preference and the ZF8 wins everywhere else (IMO).
There shouldn't be a VIN prerequisite, as is the case with the Nissan and Mazda programs. VINs are generally only required when buying specific parts for limited production vehicles because spares are low quantity from the get-go.
Examples would be stuff like A70 Turbo-A and LF-A.
That...
A little odd for sure, but looks as though the marketing focus was on a new line of tires, so I guess they didn't care as much about pushing the wheels.
the wing on the Heritage is an actual jza80 wing that they shortened to fit on the car; they did that on purpose for throwback sake, and as such it doesn't fit the car anywhere near as well as it did on the former.
the EKanoo and TCD are definitely better and pull off proper design cues despite...
Do-Luck has their hands in a shocking amount of stuff these days, at least for an older performance shop that doesn't get anywhere near the publicity of say TRUST and HKS. Pretty cool that they bought one from you guys though.
Would make sense given their foray into Formula D. I know of three drivers using them currently in competition, but I thought Ken was using H pattern still.
EDIT: Ken/Greddy have been using Samsonas since 2017
